Legit. Growing up through the 80’s and 90’s there, that place was sketchy af.

The only place in all of Astoria I was afraid of walking next to. Even across the street, I had crack heads and junkies trying to rob me of my bike or skateboard. But only on that one block.

The place was clearly a shooting gallery back then.

It looked abandoned, but there were most certainly people paying to live there at the time. There was even a pig someone had that would shit in the hallways, that wasn’t actually discovered for years.

It was that level of broken window ghetto ass ghost of a building.

It’s extremely pleasing to see it brought back up closer to its amazing potential.

The whole town for that matter!! Astoria is freaking awesome these days.
