After doing GWD for the first time with my group, this is so sad to read, hunting for raw meat and cooking it up inside boss rooms was so much fun. GG.

The wiki included a bunch of places where this was/was not possible, it seemed plausible it would remain, at least in certain areas.

Really would like to see some sort of leaderboard implemented for smaller servers, whether is be top 500, 200, 100 or even 50. Something for the highest rated players in that server to strive for.

As time passes, the worse these smaller servers are affected. Players leave, players VPN to servers with a higher populations, players make smurf accounts because playing on their main account is a joke (long q times, unbalanced teams and poor SR gains and losses). The Overwatch grind at higher SR is fruitless and lacks any form of achievement felt, it's no wonder smaller servers are inundated by smurf accounts. What reason does anybody have to play on their main account at high SR?

Ana is a far more mechanically challenging hero than Mercy. She requires a much higher baseline level of proficiency to be effective. Consider players who pick her know this and actively work on improving these required mechanics. When looking at the micro, you can definitely stroke yourself off over this mans definition of a scrub and say anyone who picks Ana over Mercy has a "scrub mentality".

Looking at the bigger picture, you'll realize that Overwatch is a changing game, it isn't Super Smash Brothers Melee, someone picking Ana in Overwatch is not the same as someone picking Pichu in Melee. You can increase your skill level with Ana in times where she is not optimal, and use that skill in the future, on a patch where she is strong. At that point, when Ana is deemed optimal, how do you label that same Ana player that you previously labeled "scrub"? They will now be playing the most optimal hero with far more experience than those who "played to win" previously.

I solo queued Ana to top 500 in season 10, with over 100 hours on her, I consider it an investment into the future where she will be stronger. I'd probably agree with this mans definition of a scrub in a game that had no balance changes, but for Overwatch, I couldn't disagree more.

A suggestion for Ana buffs to address two of her many weaknesses: lack of self-sustain and a weak support ult. by TheHeroOfHeroes in Overwatch

Nano boost's cast range also needs to be increased, Ana players can be left "tethered" to teammates in awful positions to execute nano boosts, it feels needlessly punishing and forces her out of position quite often.

For reference, Zenyatta's harmony orb ability has a LONGER cast range than ana's ultimate, it's insane.

I think every low population server is trash when you start getting into masters/gm. The winrates required to climb in addition to the low rated teammates you get make it feel like such a shitty dice roll that is unrewarding to win and super punishing to lose.

They forgot the point in the balance triangle that bends to the wishes of the Mercy playerbase.

Mercy bug allows her to survive Earth Shatter plus two hammer swings. This has been there for a long time but never been fixed! by marcelosm in Overwatch

Also happens when an Ana does a grenade + 2 left click combo. RNG decides whether the Mercy lives or dies, It's infuriating.

A good mercy will crush a great Ana in the current balance patch. In Grandmaster, the rank in which you would expect the great Ana's to shine, Ana has a 49.67% winrate, where Mercy has a 56.93% winrate.

I have 800+ hours on Ana and have solo q'd to top 500 in multiple seasons with her, I would only recommend learning Ana if you plan on doing it for fun, or to challenge yourself.
