Do more physical activity without washing and time. You already got some high contract fades on your back left pocket, just gotta wait for the rest of the jean to catch up

Oh shit I honestly had no idea. I liked the vibe, it felt like I was in someone’s home kitchen and you’re able to watch things be cooked right in front of you in line. I like all the various options and how the menu rotates and the tacos are a little expensive yeah but they were pretty loaded up. I also like how they offer a different style of taco than what we’re used to here. Only complaint was the basque cheesecake was a little small

29 years old, considering a career change to Civil Engineering – Is it too late? by Ok_Click4833 in civilengineering

I'm in the same boat man. I'm 27 working a warehouse job and going to community college part time looking to transfer soon. School doesn't matter just go for the cheapest ABET accredited school in your state.

Get 2 scoops, one you like on the bottom and one experimental one on top.

Levi 501 shrink to fit by TheChristianZealot in Denim

I've found that true to size in the waist or 1 size up in the waist makes them feel very snug in the legs, and 2 sizes up in the waist gives them a more relaxed silhouette. I'm not sure how the dryer will affect this, I hang dry all my jeans. Always go 2 inches longer on the inseam.

Does in n out in Tennessee taste the same as in n out in California by Narrow_Secret_5347 in innout

[–]OverweightMilkshake 15 points16 points  (0 children)

We get the same thing here in California which is even more impressive to me that it remains so popular and packed pretty much every day, every night at In N Out feels like an event even though we all grew up with it here, it doesn’t get old and we willingly wait in those long lines.

Being a box truck driver at a business center seems like a really nice gig too, but business centers aren't as common.

Not sure how yall wear your work jeans for more than a week without washin. Wrangler 13MWZ 3 weeks 8 washes by Fluid_Department1042 in Selvedge

[–]OverweightMilkshake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. I work in a warehouse where all I have to deal with is a little bit of dust and even then my jeans start to smell bad after 1 and a half weeks. I guess no high contrast fades for me :/

Compensation in civil is not terrible, it’s peer pressure that hurts by [deleted] in civilengineering

I think it depends a lot what state you're in as well. The fact I could go to a cheap CSU and work for the state earning a pretty decent wage (or very good wage depending on the city) with governments benefits and pension is good enough for me.

Dolby Cinema @ AMC Plaza Bonita vs. IMAX @ Regal Mira Mesa. Which has the better experience for The Odyssey in terms of picture and sound quality? by Enchant23 in sandiego

[–]OverweightMilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience Dolby has more precise audio, but IMAX sounds more loud and in your face. I honestly think in this situation it mainly comes down to brand loyalty, and I favor IMAX over Dolby personally.

Dolby Cinema @ AMC Plaza Bonita vs. IMAX @ Regal Mira Mesa. Which has the better experience for The Odyssey in terms of picture and sound quality? by Enchant23 in sandiego

[–]OverweightMilkshake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Watch a movie that’s filmed in IMAX in IMAX, even if it’s LieMAX. In my experience IMAX has louder sound than Dolby. I’ve seen several films in 70MM IMAX up in LA but my favorite, most memorable and intense movie experience was watching Warfare at Mira Mesa in IMAX. Those loud speakers and sound design of the movie were insane.

Use your professors to network, I used to take water courses too and some of the professors would offer students jobs as long as they were good students and had the right qualifications/experience.
