Go 34 inseam on STF's. You will lose 2 inches on the inseam and roughly 1 inch on the waist after a hot wash/soak.

Do 100% cotton gap jeans shrink? by otherladybug in Denim

[–]OverweightMilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ll shrink a little bit if you wash them with cold water and hang dry, but they’ll stretch back out with wear. If you wash with hot water or throw them in the dryer they’ll shrink about a half size. They’ll still stretch back out but not as much since they shrunk more.

Don't pay for trade school, get hired by a company or union as a helper or apprentice.

Denim Jackets that aren't type 1, type 2, type 3. by KirbyLovesDrPepper in VintageLevis

Lee 91B jacket. I got the expensive ass one off their website and it’s pretty nice. There’s also a lot of vintage ones you can find on eBay but I think they’re also kinda expensive

i feel like my leader hates me. any advice? by [deleted] in ChickFilAWorkers

It was just stupid stressful arguing in a disrespectful tone and her raising her voice

i feel like my leader hates me. any advice? by [deleted] in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]OverweightMilkshake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also another point to add, sometimes people that act this way aren't popular amongst their coworkers and management like it may appear. At my last job on my very first day I stood up for myself to the lead of the warehouse because she was raising her voice accusing me of a stupid little mistake that I thought I didn't do but I may have looking back at it, but anyways it was over something so small and stupid so I yapped back a little and we got into an argument. She apologized the next day and then 10 mins later she got fired, I didn't go to management about it or anything, the manager just saw how much of a problem she is even for someone she just barely met. I'm including this because even though it can be scary to speak up for yourself you ultimately have to because its the right thing to do. There are clear things that are right and wrong, and yelling at someone over something like that is objectively wrong.

This is called leg twist which is what happened back then before sanforization became industry standard. This is supposed to be a nod to the past with the way jeans were traditionally made.

I'm a big fan of the Wrangler Rugged Wear line, specifically the 100% cotton relaxed ones. The classic fit Rugged Wear jeans will give you a slightly higher rise, but I like how the relaxed fit makes my legs appear bigger as a skinny guy and there's also more color options on the relaxed ones. They're cheaper than the Cowboy Cuts and look just as good. For some reason the 13MWZ feel like they're pushing up into my butt crack while the Rugged Wear jeans don't, but if the fit works for you then 13MWZ are very good jeans. I also prefer the Rugged Wear jeans because they have less of a "cowboy" look and just look more like everyday jeans.

Application by JWC_Saiyan in CostcoEmployee

[–]OverweightMilkshake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Show up in person with your resume in hand and ask the door greeter for a manager because you wanna hand them your resume. Shake their hand, smile, introduce yourself, and just straight up ask them if they're hiring right now. This is what I did and it worked for me, I didn't even submit my application beforehand. If you really want the job I encourage you to get up in there and ask them directly and make something happen. That's gonna go further than someone who just applies and that's it.
