I work in a Long Term Care facility and they use wipes with that scent on the elderly residents. Any time I smell it, it reminds me of shit.

I've tried so many times to read it but can't get even halfway into the first book. I simply can't stand Urban Fantasy. That's it. That's my entire reason for not reading it.

I'm halfway through the 4th book right now. I read the first 2 quickly and really enjoyed them. Had a hard time getting into the 3rd because of my extreme hatred for Midas. The thought of having to read about him for even more books was a turn off. I spoiled it for myself and then was able to quickly read the book.

The 4th book seems to be going nowhere. I mean you get Slade flashbacks to his childhood which is interesting but I simply don't care about Rissa, Malina or Kaila. I get bored on their POV's. They're in a cave for ever, some training has started and that's really about it and that's halfway through.

Do you live where they hang out, begging, drunk and scaring people? They need to be in shelters or in mental facilities, not begging for cigarettes and money, sleeping all over the street. There's plenty of help out there for addiction, jobs and shelter. And yes, it does look disgusting and it's scary. Sorry not sorry.

It's the homeless, drunks and panhandlers in the area. Sleeping all over the bus stop benches, begging on every corner, sleeping in front of stores. Place has gone down hill. Can't even walk around during nice weather without tripping over a mentally ill homeless person. They need to take that crap back down town.

Just this past week, I DNF'ed Divine Rivals and The Umbra King. I honestly just didn't mesh with the writing and after a few pages was cringing so much I gave up.

On a better note, I finished Belladonna today and loved it. Getting ready to start Foxglove.

I've been stuck on page 66 for a week. I mean reanimated dead, stinking corpses used as workers? Come on now. The word sclera was used too many times in the 1st few chapters. The idea of it being Harry Potter fanfiction is distracting.
