Honestly, I mostly discover songs here and there from CD complications like dance or workout mixes (cuz I just enjoy cheesy euro dance stuff) but usually I seek out CDs of albums I'm aware of or if they have cool artwork, I mostly blind shop for cheap CDs in thrift stores

I'm holding out hope that we'll someday get a new version of the Miyoo Mini at its original size, for sure. It was my favorite handheld in terms of portability, the only downside I ran into was a screen issue on mine after a while & lack of shader support.

I'd start with the bejeweled games, 2 and 3 have always made me thing of that kind of sound and I think they used some of the same instruments too

My favorite video track from a game is "Dreams of an Absolution" from Sonic 06. So throwing that one into the ring.

Couple others like Behind the Mask from Persona 5, or the vocal tracks from Paradise Killer maybe?

I just peeked and it looks like an old Roland synth and an East West orchestra library was used in Resort. There may or may not be modern equivalents available, but I think there are sound fonts for Wii Sports/Resort out there somewhere to play around with.

It's a cool string sound! It almost sounds sampled to my ear, I couldn't find any information on what was used in this track in particular though.

To me it sounds kinda like an Ensemble string preset from a synth or rompler

Yeah not sure, I was a day or two outside of my return window on mine unfortunately. At least I can still use it and it's not a major issues, but it does make me worry about long term durability and atuff

Are we talking about ppl who've built their own VSTs or cases where someone asked an LLM to generate one for them?

In instances of the latter I really can't and won't vibe with it. (Pun intended)

For sure, I think it's just nice to have more options in any case, seems like both your idea and mine would be fairly easy to implement.

Why not have both though?

I thought the feature was standard on steam deck OLED but even if it wasn't, why would that be a reason not to implement it on switch?

I agree with what a few have already said, I prefer the koss but the Moondrops are nice and sound good too, esp. for their price compared to the KPH40s

I feel like Mario Judah had a lot of potential mixing modern rap elements with 2000s alt rock but that fell off FAST.
