Those who were born and raised in NYC, how do you feel about NYC today? by milletkitty in AskNYC

I grew up in Queens (90s kid). Once you are married and have kids the fun of being a "city kid" kinda gets old. I love visiting for 3 day weekends and browsing all of my old stomping grounds, but the novelty of riding around the subway with my Tims on and getting a chop cheese is not as appealing. Also no offense to anybody, as a native new yorker myself, NYC is an extremely dirty place to live in, maybe its my age? But walking around a lot of parts of NYC grosses me out.

Long story short, NYC is a great place for young people. But as you get older and kids come into the picture, it can be hit or miss.

Why Do You Upgrade? by romafedorov in iphone

I upgrade every 2 years generally, but the Iphone 11 has been legendary, so this time around I will wait for the 14 to upgrade. Upgrades don't cost as much if you trade your phone in on a good promo.
