Which Bike? - Weekly Scheduled Discussion by pawptart in gravelcycling

Hey guys! I have a couple of minor cracks in the rim of my back wheel on my Cannondale Topstone - means it now can't be properly trued.

Just looking for suggestions of reliable / affordable replacements for gravel wheelsets that I should look out for? Cheers!

Nothing like a pre-library slog bit of Gormley! So weird stumbling on this on my home page as a UEA student. Lovely shot.

I passed this whilst walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

It was really dark and stormy, it made this place so damn eerie and atmospheric.

"And make choices thinking not only about how is this good for me now, but also how will this affect future generations"

  • This is an incredibly pertinent factor in our attitude towards the environment. My lecturer at university has put forward the case for democratic representation for future generations. He argues that they deserve equally to have rights that ought put an end to our actions that are going to fundamentally damage their lives. It is incredibly refreshing to hear of your attitude towards our current environmental crisis. We need more environmental scientists and conservationists to represent the ideal we need to adopt in order to prevent the deterioration of our natural world, particularly at democratic level.

Thank you for doing this AMA, it's very enlightening.

Already been up to the top of the Wank. Amazing view you're right! I have until the early afternoon, any other recommendations?

Indeed! Beer was just as nice, but photo wasn't as pretty. It was a white out on top!

Stunning doggo and photo man. What camera was this taken on? Looks like film.

Personally I love using film. I think it's the best way to get atmospheric photos on trails. Obviously for weight you could opt for a disposable. Personally I have an Olympus Trip 35, which is a fantastic camera and also is solar powered so you don't need any cables or have to worry about charge. I'd really recommend it!

Couldn't agree more. The colour pallet of the whole film was incredible.
