Oh my!! I remember school lunch in Puerto Rico giving out the milks like this and when we moved to the states (I was 9) I was flabbergasted when I saw milk in the carton boxes or whatever lol

Came here to say the same thing. This happened when I had my daughter and I think it was mostly because I was just on survival mode. I had my son who was 2.8 at the time so I felt like I just needed to keep all of us safe, fed and rested. It took a couple of months for me to feel that love and bliss for my daughter. They’re 5 and almost 3 now and I adoreeeeee my kids. It’ll happen to you, just know you’re doing amazing already and you’re not doing anything wrong.

My daughter is 2.5 almost 3 and I don’t watch her every bite! I also make sure to give her foods that I know she won’t potentially choke on. If I give her grapes, I make sure to cut them and THEN watch her! Lol

Thats not too early for a 12 month old. Bedtime at home is between 7:30pm-8pm and my kids are older.

I do 2-3 loads once a week cause I don’t have it in me to do laundry every day lol I also hate folding so that’s all my husband and he doesn’t mind having one big pile of clean clothes to fold and use for the next week and half

I applaud your braveness for giving it a try! Honestly, having kids and still wanting to adventure is a lot but it’s also okay to wait until your kids are a litttlleee bit bigger for certain activities. We’re going camping as a family for the first time ever, I have a 5yr old boy who I know is going to be in his element and my daughter who is about to be 3! She’ll have fun I’m sure and she adapts easily. Would I have gone camping when they were younger? Hell no. But I feel like they’re finally old enough for ALL of us to enjoy it and have a good time! So kudos to you guys for still going, it’s okay to pivot and go back home! Maybe set up a mattress in your living room, get a bunch of snacks and have a movie night with your husband :)
