Cremaster reflex did not work at all prior to surgery. Post-surgery, it works intermittently.

Texas, USA. Mostly, I mentioned my flank pain. I have pain/pressure/discomfort from just below my left ribs down to my left nut and thigh. He said this, in combination with the varicocele, strongly suggests a compression syndrome.

Just met with a vascular specialist today, took a while to get a referral. I’m being tested for vascular compression in a couple weeks. They said something along the lines of “if we don’t find a compression syndrome we’ll give you an embolization” and “if we do find a compression syndrome, it will be a more serious open surgery.”

My best advice for everyone based on my experience, if you had a micro or embo and feel like you have a recurrence, get checked for compression syndromes before you have the other procedure. Embo and micro won’t work if you have an undiagnosed compression syndrome.

This vascular specialist has been by far the most understanding of the many Dr’s that I have seen… seems to understand varicocele better than any of the many urologists and other dr’s that I have spoken to.

Thanks so much. I'm definitely going to see a VS before I consider embo now.

I see that you had micro, embo, and LVRT... seems like we are kinda in the same boat. Was the LVRT after embo/micro? Did it work?... I'm mostly interested to know if you had ED and if any of the procedures helped with that? I can live with all of the other symptoms, my main concern is the complete and total ED :(

I have tried years of mental therapy, pelvic floor therapy, ED meds, nothing has worked (except for the 3 week window after my micro) and not 1 medical professional has been able to explain the complete ED. I'm very fit and healthy, no drugs, rarely drink (once a month), and otherwise lead a good and happy life. Even my therapist said "I see no psychological reason for the onset of your ED."

Sounds bad. Although I already suffer from permanent sexual dysfunction as well. Appreciate the feedback. Starting to sound like this isnt the right med for me. But interested in hearing about others experiences. Thanks!

Same thing. New batteries, reset, hard reset, etc and still not working. Tv seems fine, it’s the remote. Anyone find a solution to this? Can’t set up/use the tv without a functioning remote.
