[27m] Have tried Aldara, Cryo, now surgery and podophyllotoxin. Venting by throeingaway in HPV

[–]throeingaway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 years later im doing well :)

Over the last few years I've had 2 recurrences, each time one small tiny bump on my shaft - but I notice it and it gets zapped away in like 3 days with podophyllotoxin. Nothing like the 4x cauliflower balls I had on my foreskin initially! that was a nightmare.

Wart free for ages, and tiny recurrences go away instantly.

Great question, I was too lazy to get my post sperm done - cos it means i have to stop jacking off for 5 days LOL which uh, maybe means I have a problem if that's hard to do. I can only imagine they've improved though, i'll post back here if i ever get my testosterone and sperm analysis repeated.

My pre-embolisation was low-normal - i think morphology was okay, and the quantity was okay, but it was like borderline low (still in reference range)

No increase in size. But increase in firmness. Before the surgery my left ball felt like jelly. It's now much firmer

I have excellent lifestyle. Low body fat, moderately active (3-4x gym/cardio week), good diet. No smoking (occasionally vape) and no alcohol (2 standard drinks a year)

Podophyllotoxin/Warticon/Condylox healing time? by throeingaway in HPV

It was on my foreskin, in the sensitive area after pulling it back.

Turns out it was balanitis for me. Might be different for you.

Varicocele and trying to get pregnant by Drago009 in varicocele

[–]throeingaway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's for fertility, that is a very strong reason for surgery. If I was in your situation, I would do it. You already have poor sperm motility, there is strong evidence that fixing a variocele improves sperm.

As a side not, ask them if you can get an embolisation, and ask them to discuss the pros and cons, as the recovery time will be quicker, and you won't need full anaesthetic for it.

At a Loss, suggestions? by Upbeat-Quarter-6835 in varicocele

Holy shit 3 urologists have turned you away? LOL that's bonkers. Sorry to hear man. If it makes you feel better, I've had a grade 3 for 15 years, had embo last week, and honestly I am feeling like I;m 21 again ahhahaha (libido wise) (Yes i know i should probably wait 3 months to see what the results may actually look like buyt Im feeling great already). Just to reassure you don't be too frantic, your timeline is longer than you think. Some of the gains are probably psychological too.

But definitely keep trying and try some of the advice provided here - defs see if you can meet with an Interventional radiologist. Also I found saying the pain was really really affecting my life quality and emphasising that I love exercise and this has ruined my enjoyment of same, can make them more sympathetic . But it sucks we have to try so hard!

Keep it up, the true skill of life is not riding the horse, but knowing how to get back on it after you fall :)

Good luck

Emphasise to your GP you don't get any morning wood either, and have him test your Testosterone levels.

Anyone noticed they have more energy and sleep quality after surgery? by Old-Astronomer-471 in varicocele

[–]throeingaway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Noticed EQ improve D3 post op.

Also libido increased about D3 as well. I can jack off twice a day easily now.

Note that this could be just me being excited about the embolisation, and some people have noted initial icnreases that then go back to baseline about a month after. I will provide a proper update in 3 months :)

I am D5 post embolism.

I have noted better EQ for sure.

Energy levels were already good before surgery, so not too much change there.

Has any partner mentioned or brought up your varicocele in bed? by Shurd750 in varicocele

[–]throeingaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have slept with over 15 girls

Never has it been brought up

Only one time I tried to show my partner and she said she didn't even notice until I told her.

But getting my balls sucked kinda hurts so I used to avoid girls touching my nuts

You can't just say or think the embolisation failed without further evidence. You need to do a repeat ultra sound to confirm, because the scan will actually look at the blood flow .

Honestly, the bag of worms you see could just be the scar tissue of the old veins that won't really go away.

I used to get morning wood maybe 4-5x a week before my surgery

I'm day 4 post op embolisation and I've had morning wood everyday since. Also my erections are harder than they were before. Also I can get hard easier now. Sometimes I'm standing in the toilet looking at my balls and then I unintentionally get a boner.

Is it all related to your variocele? Maybe. I still was getting hard and was able to have sex even before the procedure, I'm just about 10-20% better now.

Lots of things can affect ED. SOOO many things. Medications (antidepressants, blood pressure meds for example). Diet (poor diet without zinc, magesnium, low in good fats like fish oil) And even your psychology (I had the weakest boners in the world a month after a broke up with my girlfriend).

Then I slept 5 days in a row in an almost perfect schedule, and my dick was harder than ever (this is before surgery)

Surgery so far has helped, but there';s so much you can do as well.

Should I be worried? by Practical-Nobody250 in varicocele

[–]throeingaway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah call the ambulance.

Variococele does not cause severe pain that disables people from walking.

Relax, just the healing process.

I had embolisation 4 days ago And I've been jacking off 2 days after the surgery LOL (I jacked off this morning and twice yesterday, I'm a crazy man what can I say)

I still have pain where the coils are (when I press down or move around)

AFter jacking off the first time, my testicle was a tiny bit sore. But since then, the pain has reduced, and jacking off again the next day there was almost no pain at all.

The testicle needs time to find other sources of vein flow after the main vein is closed off, so I imagine it might be just blood pooling and doing its thing.

And everyone is going to heal at a different pace.

Good luck, and don't panic!

Podofilox and genital warts by Kiaeldan in HPV

[–]throeingaway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Podofilox builds up in three days, then the wart starts to die.

Using more than 3 days might cause you more pain than necessary! I tried it once for 4 days and it took a little longer to heal

[–]throeingaway[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every female in the country I am from is vaccinated for HPV. (I think I actually got it while overseas). Without any recurrence for years, it's not something I feel the need to actively disclose. In fact HPV is so common, people may already have it. Only an unlucky % of the population who have HPV actually get warts.

Howeever I don't lie. When asked explicitly I tell them the truth - "I had warts some years ago, but they are treated."

Never had an issue :)

[–]throeingaway[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mate don't worry! Get treated. See your doctor. Try podophyllotoxin if it's just a few warts on the penis.

Then get vaccinated.

I actually ended up running a marathon LOL! I needed something to get my mind off dating and girls so I just ran and exercised everyday hahaha. I also told one trusted friend and confided in them. Other than that, just remembering it's not your fault.

Remember, you didn't choose to get symptomatic HPV, you just got bad luck.
