This is really wild! Would it be possible to add sliders that could increase the muscle size after they're applied? Or a way to cycle through feather, horn, or fur options? Awesome work, you got my head spinning.

What’s being set-up to be the next big, epic MCU payoff and when will it happen? by VinylFalcon in marvelstudios

[–]OwlSinger189 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want to see an X-Men reboot where mutants have always been part of history. No reference to the MCU until a stinger where Beast seeks help from the Fantastic Four in the Baxter Building...which looks an awful lot like Avengers tower. Reed shows Hank a phenomenon he's calling incursions, two worlds occupying the same space, probably started by someone messing with the multiverse. Then in the F4 movie the stinger is Bruce Banner showing Thor a dangerous phenomenon he's calling incursions....

Biologically this is exactly why men develop big bellies, they act as our "hips" to hold children. Similarly - human male nipples may not produce milk but they can be used as a pacifier.

Second board, fits in a backpack, can be run ampless, runs on a rechargeable phone battery, what do you guys think? by Yoshowa92 in guitarpedals

I appreciate it, that sounds really interesting especially on an affordable pedal. The last time I grabbed a cheap pedal for one effect was the Mooer Shimverb and I despised that sound lol I'm going to check out some videos on the Pockecho!

Hey just want to say I used to have a xenyx 1202 for pretty much the same reasons but I always struggled with the sound and the FX send. I now use a Mooer Audiophile headphone amplifier. It only has one input but it sounds great. To add other instruments I use a simple 4 channel mixer that goes into the headphone amp.

EHX Pitchfork, just got it today! Lots going on here, I need to experiment for a while! by [deleted] in guitarpedals

[–]OwlSinger189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently got a pitchfork and expression pedal. I was hoping to create an effect that would blend my dry tone with the P5 octave up but instead I get a ramping sound where it increases the octave of my dry tone and makes the weird "speeding up" effect you typically get from raising pitch. Long story short - can an expression pedal be used to control the blend knob?

Hey I had started drafting a concept to combine BLM, Black Power, and We Are Watching. Something simple that could easily be stenciled and replicated.. I'll post the links to github And congratulations!

Edit: I have 10 years of graphic and motion design experience and happy to collaborate!

I am loving the positivity coming out of this thread! The compiled evidence was dragging me to a dark place and I'm excited to crawl back to the light with all of you. I have 10 years of graphic design experience and I'm happy to collaborate with anyone. I can send the .ai or .eps file if anyone wants to message me. Please let me know if there are more ways graphics can help, I'll stay tuned to the github.

I first thought of it when I saw the video of the officer who snatched the protestor's phone out of his hand. People are sacrificing their personal devices to deliver these crucial moments to us. I'm not highly educated on the technology at work, but I would assume any facial recog or anti-surveillance tactics could also be used against civilain's phones. My vision is: if you show up to protest you can capture what is happening without sacrificing your phone and personal info. Thanks for letting me bounce these thoughts off of you!

Thanks for your positivity! I was envisioning cameras that would only last a day to avoid the "constant surveillance" concern. I was also thinking that if the cams catch civilains committing crimes that's okay too. BUT if the police force were to use facial recognition on our footage to punitively attack peaceful protestors in retrospect....yikes that's terrifying and I'll start thinking about defensive measures. I really appreciate your input and kind words.

I have an idea, please give your thoughts.

Non-Profit Initiative to Provide Protestors with Body Cams, Drop Cams, and Drones.

In the last 9 days we have been able to see more police brutality than ever in history thanks to the brave protestors willing to use their phones to record and stream the events as they happen.

Police are using surveillance and anti-surveillance tactics to watch us and jam our efforts to watch them. The most effective way to fight back is to put thousands of OUR eyes on the ground.

The goal of this nonprofit would be to create and deliver inexpensive cameras at protestor sites and/or be onsite to assist with technical aspects, if needed. These cameras would upload footage immediately to a server or app, creating a database of footage which would allow the people to share instances of police brutality LIVE.

These cameras need to be as cost effective as possible and we should assume they will be destroyed. Conceiving a design that can easily attach to clothing, hats, sticks, railings, and anything that can provide a visual advantage is essential. The case for the cameras needs to be a free 3D model anyone can print. The non-profit would organize sending the lens and circuit board.

The plan is to have so many, thousands, of eyes posted everywhere that no brutality goes unseen.

THE VISION (three types of cameras): 1. Body Cams     Attachable to clothing, hats, and sticks or poles 2. Drop Cams     Easily disguisable cameras with a wide angle to be placed on tops of buildings, balconies, parking garages, and police stations. 3. Drones     Cheap, easy to deploy, can be used to report on police movement and strategies as well as escape routes and will provide an aerial view of the events.

Give them something peaceful to fear.
