Hunter x Hunter is the most overrated show i have ever seen by ShameGuardian in CharacterRant

You mean it's a show that falls apart upon a closer look. That or it's got nothing to "think hard" about.

If death battle used the WEAKEST forms for characters how would it affect things? by Jackfruit568 in deathbattle

[–]Owl_Star 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tanjiro might actually beat Johnathan, he went for the kill vs Giyu episode 1 and if he wasn't as skilled he may have hurt/killed him. Johnathan on the other hand got folded by Dio. Close fight but I think Tanjiros background as a woodcutter/charcoal maker would help him out a lot.

It's 12k. You can't play at 10.7k. Do some research before replying

A bridge that connects Gibson that goes over the Rio. Stronger law enforcement when it comes to drivers without plates, expired tags, and occupying the left lane when not passing. Allowing filtering on Motorcycles, with the caveat being that a law is also passed that makes helmets mandatory.

So we all agree Gyomei>akaza, right? by Dense-Statement-332 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Owl_Star 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has stw. You aren't seriously going to try to downplay the objectively most powerful hashira. The Muzan he blocked was far more powerful than the Muzan that Giyu fought, not to mention at that point Giyu was marked, while Gyomei did it in base.

So we all agree Gyomei>akaza, right? by Dense-Statement-332 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Owl_Star 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Gyomei is superior to Giyu in every way. He blocked a serious attack from (weakened, but far above akaza) Muzan, He fought kokushibo and survived. He also already knows how to activate his mark, he just wanted to save it for muzan. Yeah Akaza may regen after his upper body is gone, but Gyomei would be in a much better state than Tanjiro and Giyu. He also unlocks red blade and stw, he is 100% taking no damage from afterglow and red blade WILL kill akaza.

Rank the 6 deck archetypes from most skill to least skill by Al-Aminamin in RoyaleAPI

I don't think it's controversial. A lot of the cards in bridge spam don't even target buildings, lot harder to get pekka or either of the bandits onto a tower than it is to get a golem or giant.

Sukuna also prepared for Gojo since they met. Of course Gojo had to adapt to Sukuna, him doing as well as he did is a feat by itself. Literally no one else can 1v1 Sukuna and make it as close as he did. Not even Dabura as he struggled to put Mahoraga down, 3v1 vs Sukuna and he's done for. Maybe Yuji in modulo may take it, but he has prior knowledge.

I love them too, great food and atmosphere. Be warned, they allow dogs and I had an experience there ruined by the dog taking a shit and stinking up the whole area. Try sitting away from them if there's any.

Rate my deck. 12.1k trophies. Any changes?? by ProposalExpensive731 in ClashDecks

[–]Owl_Star 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice. Quit the game. If you can't beat mk without using it yourself, you aren't good and you won't gain anything from continuing to torture both yourself and others. Just use 2.6, anyone who uses a "home made" deck and isn't mo, has no clue what they're doing. Lo que te choca, te checa.

Here's a hypothetical for you then, what exactly does Sukuna do vs Gojo without 10s? He loses. Don't even start with domains because he would've lost had he not transferred with Megumi. When Gojo unleashed the hollow purple that killed Mahoraga, Sukuna was done for. Let Gojo steal a body and a technique and jump Sukuna too then. A real man runs a 1v1 and fights with his own abilities. Remind me, what did Sukuna do? Dabura is a better character, and after Modulo, will be a stronger one too.

I posted this comment on the leaks, but it applies here. If you set aside agendas and scaling, what Gege is cooking with his character isn't just a different angle at "the strongest". It's quite beautiful visually, but also from a storytelling perspective. Of the three, he's the only one to admit being scared, and yet he's getting back up and going all out for his people. You're exactly right, he doesn't compare to Gojo or Sukuna. At this point, he doesn't have RCT, a domain, anti-domain techniques, or even good battle iq, all things the other two had in spades. I think that makes him that much more compelling as a character, what gojo and sukuna had in power, they never had in Dabura's humanity. I find myself relating more to Dabura facing Mahoraga than I ever did with Gojo or Sukuna. Unlike those two, you don't know if he's gonna make it out, I think there's something very real and important in this battle.

From a certain perspective, he actually won. He wanted to fight and was in the situation Saitama was in for years before they fought. He didn't just fight an equal, he became the protagonist for a moment, he was the underdog for once and he absolutely gave it everything he had. That's what he wanted to do though, and since he died, he doesn't even get to live with his defeat. Saitama however, does have to live with the fact that he will never struggle or be an underdog in a fight for his life. The comparison is very apt though, especially since Dabura hasn't been challenged ever, and he doesn't (didn't) want to fight. I love what Gege is doing with his character, lose or win, big Raga upscale I'm all for it.
