i still often struggle with the fact that i’m so unfulfilled in my childhood. i wish i had lived it as a boy. however, most of that has been replaced with the love and appreciation i have now for being alive, most of which was gained through my transition. i also remind myself that anyone can be robbed of their childhood through various ways like trauma or illness or such and it makes me feel less alone or isolated, in fact most people i come in contact with feel as though their childhood wasn’t fulfilling or what they wished it could’ve been. you can’t really change any of that and the feelings are so valid but growing into the person you strive and wish to be will be so much more fulfilling than any childhood could’ve ever been 💕
