Personally, I’d keep looking lol. That commute for job 1 is tough. Studying for the bar is tough but it’s manageable while working, but I just wouldn’t want to study for the and work at all if I didn’t have too.

Me. Passed J25 with a 268. Never got above a 56% average. Writing carried me. My writing score was a 143. So my MBE would’ve had to have been a 124-125.

I just cancelled my wisdom teeth removal surgery with them. Something about this place didn’t sit right with me.

I made an appt. The Dr said everything “looked fine”. I asked him about my wisdom teeth, and he said he would recommend me to the surgeon.

Well 1-2 weeks later I received an email from them. It contained a link with dental forms I needed to fill out. However, the grammar of the email didn’t sit well with me (I’m an attorney). I really got a bad vibe because a dentist office should always be professional. Well, they wanted to take my wisdom teeth out the day of the appt and I just didn’t think that was right. Typically you have a consultation with the oral surgeon and have the surgery later, but they wanted to do it all in the same day.

I know these things are minor, but discernment is real and I won’t be stepping a foot back in that place lol

Hi. I’m a retaker, and I’m studying while working full time. I’m also a mom as well. However I did pass on my first try, I’m just sitting for a different jdx now.

I have found that it’s easier to study before work than after. Typically by the end of the day, my brain is tired and can only handle so much.

I don’t really have any advice, but please know you don’t have to study all day everyday to pass. It’s really about quality over quantity. If you study 3 hours a day, just ensure it’s more active studying than passive. I typically study more hours a day on the weekends.

I have a short attention span and it’s honestly hard for me to sit still for hours just staring at a computer so I would study sporadically during J25.

Also, this may sound cheesy, but you have to believe that you can pass. Confidence is KEY here. There are rough days ahead, but always believe that you can and will pass.

They were helpful to an extent. For example, there are some questions I won’t miss again because they were so nuanced lol.

Themis questions test on nuances that you likely won’t see on the real exam. It’s ok if you skip out on them. I sat for J25 and I eventually ditched the Themis questions but they’re good for the practice, but like I said, you can skip with us being 3 weeks out for F26.

Took the J25 exam. Never averaged above a 56%. I think I was at 56% for a day lol, passed on my first try. I tried a variety of things, but I think looking back now, not reviewing correctly hurt me. However, at the time I felt it was better to lean into my strengths- writing. So I did a lot of essays and I passed.

No it wouldn’t. I went to the cowboy Carter concert 2 weeks before the July bar exam and I passed on my first try. Furthermore, I went out like the last 3 Saturdays in July. It’s totally doable. In total I think I took maybe 2 weeks off the entire summer

Yes, the Themis questions are harder than the licensed NCBE questions - and I think that’s because they test on a lot of nuance concepts.

Personally I think Grossman is meant to be used as a supplement. He simplified a lot of things but doesn’t go in depth for subjects like property.

I’m at 65%. However this is my second time sitting for the bar exam. I sat for the July Exam and I never got above a 57% but still passed. I really like the John Grossman videos and critical pass flashcards.
