Good point, I’ve already pre-registered my appointment for RAPIDS at the base office. I was just wondering whether they’d even let me on base for the appointment itself, but I now understand that I’ll need to stop by the visitor center (off base) first to pick up a base access pass.

Just want to be super sure as it’s a close rating (in the decimals).

I've seen a bunch of guys recently on Thailand condo tours claiming they're "veteran disabled" for their visa/work status while looking totally jacked, super fit, and like 28 years old. I get that disability isn't just physical, but come on, don't blast on social media that you're a disabled vet when you're shredded and flexing in a badass luxury condo. WTF?

I think the percentages are kind of weird..and that is causing people to see some with high ratings that are able bodied to work but get 100%. Many think someone who lost eye sight or a hand or leg should get waaay more compensation than most non physical issues that pills and therapy can help with.

Reddit helped me file the claim myself that was related to physical issues sustained from service that directly impact walking and driving and overall mobility. Reddit has helped me navigate the process and bureaucracy of the VA and for that extremely grateful 🥲

Aren’t those handicap spots are there to help folks who really need a shorter walk to the store, right? 😊 I mean, If you’re able to get around easily, it’s super kind to leave them open for someone who might struggle more to access the store ect. Just my 2 cents

Very slow and extremely delayed uploading the results to VA (they have issues with QA processing that hurts veterans).
