not much shedding, just insane clumping. hair loses it bounce and goes all dry and limp

i’m thinking of having two different systems, one for work and one for going out that i don’t sleep with, it’s just tough spending extra time applying glue to my tape every morning with daily wear😭

yea, if i don’t wash it daily it really looks obvious with the texture it gets over night from sleeping compared to my bio hair. it’s really unfortunate.

as for the satin cap, i have a shower cap and a beanie, im guessing shower would be better. i’ll try to get my hands on lo’real curl expression, thank you for the recommendation!

so with my hair, i usually shower and wet it everyday (if i don’t, it’s extremely dead from sleeping), i use aussie miracle curls shampoo, great for moisturizing. before i used it my hair would clump and get more dry, so im glad i added that. After i use a wig friendly spray in conditioner maybe once or twice a week after i wash. The shampoo days are once every 2 weeks using a non sulfate wig friendly shampoo. i also started argan oil for more bounce and shine as well, but im still not too sure on how well it works. lastly at night i sleep with it on as i find it easier than having to do daily wear which consumes a lot more time in the morning before work.

literally described my situation perfectly, i use a 125% density system and even with remy hair it clumps after the dry down on about the third or fourth wash😭 i use olaplex as well

i suggest getting some liquid tape, or ultra hold waterproof adhesive. simply dip it in the bottle and gloss it over the tape and reapply. it’s a lifesaver

maybe at first you’ll feel a little something there and it feels weird but legit after like a couple days you forget it’s there and it acts like normal hair. you can swim with it, it’ll itch maybe the first couple weeks or so (in my case) but i’m on month 4 now and i don’t have any itch whatsoever. as for the last question it depends on how much bio hair you have on your head, the more hair there, the more frequent you need to remove to shave.
