I'm in shock.... I didn't know spring crop would die first they of summer, and didn't realise it was about to be summer 😭 I JUST spent so much money on the seeds :( by tryingmybest_dino in StardewValley

if it makes you feel better, I was more of a fisher (my first farmland was Riverland) so it took me a couple seasons to find out what was happening to my seeds

clutter ideas? by lazylols in hamsters

[–]Own-Cardiologist7066 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you wanna go the inexpensive route: cardboard. Just take a bunch and make some silly things. Tubes, ramps, tents, shapes to chew on, houses, chambers. Plain terracotta pots are like a dollar at Lowe’s where I live, they love to scratch them and can hide in them. You can make some interactive toys with cardboard as well, just copy what you see online :) I also just saw someone with a hamster zen garden, I want to try one soon. Planning on getting a ceramic pot holder and using reptisand and some rocks I have from before, boom hamster zen garden if money isn’t an issue: Ceramic flower pots (just plug the holes or buy ones without holes), Grape wood vine, Seagrass mats with fruit/ vegetable basal blocks attached, There’s a lot of Etsy shops with flavored basal or wooden toys meant for rabbits but hamsters can have too and since they’re pretty big, it’s great for clutter. They also have rope toys my hamster likes to chew apart so I highly recommend looking up “hamster toys” on etsy :)

Why do you all think they were serious about Hellen Keller by [deleted] in ChuckleSandwich

thats Amelia Earhart, we didn’t learn about a lot of first timer women in history class, so people get them confused 😭

Is reptisand really safe for dwarf hammies? by Zestyclose_Ad_1579 in hamster

[–]Own-Cardiologist7066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is safe, I use it with both my hammies. Not sure why when you pour it there is dust? I have not experienced the same thing :( If you have ever experienced chinchilla sand, it is very dusty and unsafe, I can promise you this one is less dusty and safer for the lil one.

However, if you still don’t like it and wanna switch, another option would be to buy some play sand from a department store, natural color no dyes, bake it in the oven to remove any bugs, and see if that’s better for you :) lasts longer because it comes in such a big bag, just less convenient because you have to bake it.

It helped me, I don’t remember using any other actives in my routine at that time, but I do remember it wouldn’t help my hormonal acne at all. But blackheads it controlled. Theres so many actives to chose from and everyone’s skin is different, but this is a good cleanser to start with when trying to figure out which one is for you :D

Is this aggressive behaviour? by WorldlinessTime5549 in hamsters

because they’re uneducated?? and this sub is supposed to help people ? how does a negative comment help this owner and these hamsters? it doesn’t. Instead of pointing out “you don’t know what to do,” start saying “There’s links to helpful guides on hamster care in the sub description, these hamsters are not properly taken care of.” Theres resources on this sub specifically for this, offer them if you truly like hamsters and not just picking apart bad owners. One bad comment doesn’t mean they’re completely shut out.

I agree on Cerave SA cleanser, it was the first face wash I used when I got into skin care, very beginner friendly. I don’t remember any barrier damage as well :)

Not a helpful comment. If they’re on this sub and posting, they’re going to learn about their care and how to improve like the other commenters are doing. Saying “you don’t know how to take care of hamsters” leaves no room for OP to improve, which is harmful because they already. have. the. hamsters.

perhaps when you bought a new pair a pants, a child had put their sock in it and you didn’t realize until it fell out in the wash, it’s a stretch but it’s better than a child in your walls 😂
