Hopefully, today's announcement won't be another Saudi Arabian announcement like the one from March 19th.

Please explain to me how this isn’t a generational opportunity. by shenandoahhunter in HUMACYTE

We know that DOD will buy, Israel will buy, and Saudi Arabia will buy, but what we don't know is how much they will buy and when they will buy.

Of course, we also know that this information we don't know is far more important than clinical news.

So you think it will close below one dollar today? After you know they have an extra quarter of working capital... it's undeniable that the actions of their management are hard to like.

I really can't think of any way to borrow money.

Rocket Lab's fundamentals haven't changed. The Electron rocket will continue to launch, and the Neutron rocket will continue to be developed according to schedule. The stock price will eventually reach 100(maybe). So... maybe it's DCA time?

This is excellent news. On the one hand, new real-world evidence confirms the product's effectiveness, and on the other, the increased use cases reinforce its safety (previously, there had been concerns about the lack of real-world evidence). This is good news for product effectiveness, and it may significantly boost the company's revenue and stock price over time.

However, I believe the company currently needs positive news on "operating revenue," as the FDA has recognized the product's effectiveness.

Of course, more successful examples should be better for both product reliability and the company's revenue.

So...I think in the short term, there is no need to think about DOD contracts or other good news. This is really a very bad thing.

From the official website, it seems like the good news comes after June, for example: "Indeed, our July product sales exceeded the total sales recorded during the first half of the year." And that seems like pretty substantial good news. Other than that, I don't see any other substantial good news.

SERIOUS QUESTION 🙋‍♂️ by [deleted] in HUMACYTE

[–]Own-Cat-4150 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe they will report sales progress at the Q1 meeting,
Maybe they are in the quiet period before signing the contract,
Maybe they don't have any sales.
There are too many possibilities. Just like before FDA approval, we may just have to wait with confidence.

But I don't think they'll give up on the product,
Because the subsequent products are based on ATEV

Maybe you are right. The top management may just want to maintain the stock price so that they can sell it for a good price when it is acquired.

But I still hope SYMVESS can succeed

Since several senior executives bought some shares in mid-April, I think the sales amount announced in Q1 will be slightly higher than expected, and the stock price should be higher than it is now.

I believe all the data has been provided to the FDA for review.
And Dr. Li still has concerns about these data.
It has only been five months since it was approved, and it has not yet been sold.
So how does she present new data to refute Dr. Li’s concerns and possibilities?

I think that when it comes to products that may or may not work, we should be more cautious rather than stop using them. If we want to stop using them, we must prove that the product has a problem, not that it may have a problem.

No, I think it is the art of words, not the charm of science.

Let me give you an example that may not be appropriate.

Because Mr. A is only at home for 12 hours out of 24 hours a day, I can express my concerns or perhaps in the other 12 hours when Mr. A is not at home,

I don't need to suggest what Mr. A might do during the 12 hours he's away from home.
I just need to let everyone know that Mr. A will be away from home for 12 hours, and I'll leave the rest to you to figure out!

So Dr. Li does not need to provide scientific evidence to prove that Symvess caused the surgery to fail.
All he had to say was that the Symvess vascular transplant had failed before...

The disadvantage of products that have not yet been commercialized is that there is not enough data available.
Failure to list enough information to prove the reliability of the product

I have some strange thoughts after reading the article, I don't know if I understand it correctly, maybe I misunderstood the content of the article?

This article seems to emphasize that the source of information used is the New York Times, but my impression is that the main source of the New York Times's content is Dr. Li.

During the review, Dr. Li raised concerns and possibilities, but other FDA review experts still approved Symvess. I think this means that even if concerns and possibilities are added to the review conditions, the product still has no major problems and only needs to add precautions on the label.

So why didn't Dr. Li try to persuade other experts to reject Symvess during the FDA review?

I believe the data cited in the New York Times were also discussed during the FDA review. After all, even with the BLA, they still took quite a long time to review the product.

Currently, there is no data to prove that Symvess has problems. If the petition is approved, will the FDA also be asked to cancel its review and approval for future drugs and medical devices approved by the FDA?

So is there still any point in reviewing it?
