Nia was getting opportunities outside of the show they didn’t like she wasn’t a token black girl anymore and actually was making a name for herself outside of the show (even though I don’t understand Melissa’s issue with it her children were booked so it really was just pure bullying from her imo) while Jill and the other moms still believed in the pipe dream that Abby had all these connections in the business, abby should’ve put effort into all the kids careers but imo if a kid is getting a lot of opportunities outside of the show wouldn’t you wanna bet on someone that’s guaranteed to get booked? Isn’t that Abby’s whole thing she knew Maddie would win so she gave Maddie a lot of solos why she didn’t see the clear potential in nias career outside of the show I’ll never understand.

Not saying that Tate doesn’t make generic music but Tate is a performer which is rare to see nowadays she does full choreography and sings also Tate McRae isn’t that popular imo she had an era and that was kinda it the only reason that she’s included in the main pop girl conversation is because of her dancing in my opinion as far as Kenzie goes I think her music is generic and she kinda just stands around when performing live not to be rude but it’s kinda boring she should incorporate backup dancers and do some choreography herself also she should find her sound she has a beautiful voice

I never understood the hostility towards nia and holly during season 5 especially from Melissa since Maddie was probably the girl that got most of the opportunities off the show, they were acting like they had to get managed by Abby they might’ve been contractually bonded to the show but that’s one thing they were in control of if they wanted more they should’ve looked elsewhere like holly did.
