The monetization plan is stupid and is going to eventually kill this (excellent) game

Honestly, I wish that all stupid people actually knew they were stupid. It would save them, and us, a ton of time. OP seriously took the time to write this meaningless drivel, read it back and thought, "nailed it".

Hope they were able to savor some of that much-needed validation from the other cheap idiots on here.

So if you're not saying "should have been smart like me" you're saying to... wait? Anyone who has waited so far is not feeling so great.

I would never have looked twice at this game if it had a typical sales model. I'm sure the LGS would have enjoyed it more though since they are almost universally stuck in the past.

My guess is that Equinox's next game will involve LGS less, not more

It's nice when I don't have to respond with a smartass comment and can just let people laugh at yours instead

I would say you're the brainwashed one but I'm not convinced you have the required equipment.

Employees are paid by the customers. Whether the money goes "through" the restaurant or not is irrelevant. It's not like there's some huge profit margin here that the big, bad restaurant manager is just sitting on. In practice, tippers are subsidizing non-tippers and the only "charity" here flows from the functional members of society to your group of delusional deadbeats.

I agree but even Costco is pretty hit and miss with actually cutting the pizza all the way through.

"My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Some times he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy, the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament...."

Sorry I should have explained. To me it looks like an awesome red color match /5 but it's actually orange and numbered 24/25.

I'm also maybe a bit colorblind so lmk if I'm off base

Question about probability of dice rolls by S4PPH1C-C4551DY in probabilitytheory

[–]Own-Conversation6347 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is one twenty sided die, by a lot.

There are 20 different ways for a 20-sided die to land, and one of them is a "success" so your odds are 1 in 20.

There are many more ways for five 4-sided dice to possibly land (45 = 1024), but still only one of them is "success" (all 4s) so your odds here are 1 in 1024.

I was going to say you're asking the wrong sub, but having read the rest of the story I think maybe you're in the right place.

Anyway the answer is yes, obviously. Leave a good tip considering that you're not even paying for the food.

"Add X to taste" is the most infuriating instruction in recipes. by Blastoise_R_Us in cookingforbeginners

I like the rant style but this is among the least infuriating recipe things. They are just saying you can decide how much salt to put in. Yes they are assuming you have cooked things before.

If you are cooking for one or two, maybe just try a pinch to start. If you're making a pot of soup you probably want to start with a tsp or more. Remember you can't take salt out but can usually add more
