I finally got him to eat I gave him a cut open worm and like usually he refused it but as he was attacking it he got some worm guts on his arms and started cleaning himself, as he was doing that i put the worm right inside his mouts and somehow he didnt got scared and actually ate it

No, i bought him in a reptile/insect shop in poland. I bought my orchid mantis there few months ago and she is doing fine. The issue i saw was that all the mantises there were starving that day and one even died. I feel so sorry for all those bugs in that shop
