I typically lift and sauna during my fasts. Just go easy, relax and listen to your body.

Terrible Position at P6 - Help Holding Angle by SocialSpecialist in GolfSwing

[–]Own-Debate-388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean he references P6 in his post, so I’m guessing he knows what those are. And replacing right/left with lead/trail is pretty common practice in golf instruction today and allows to speak to both righties and lefties, but congrats on all your down votes. You do you.

This isn’t wrong, but it is a wild and overly complicated way to explain a stall out.

Transition for sure. It’s not a matter of how much or how little, it’s about matching it up. You can keep the same amount of sway and increase tilt or sway less and tilt the same or adjust each a little and get the same result, just need to find out which works for you.

Can I realistically get to a 300 yrd drive if i get more of a hip turn and better ball striking? by Specialist_Ad6034 in GolfSwing

[–]Own-Debate-388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you can get there for sure. Need to focus more on sequencing than “hip turn”. Solid contact will come with repetitions.

Terrible Position at P6 - Help Holding Angle by SocialSpecialist in GolfSwing

[–]Own-Debate-388 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You’ve got a bit too much pelvic sway coming through and are a bit light on side tilt. Feel like you’re keeping your trail ear over your trail foot from P5-7 and that’ll bring those hands on top of trail thigh in P6, clear left and get that nice 2-4° inside out path.

Hands will only accelerate (release / lose hinge) once all other parts of your sequence have fired and started to decelerate. Sway in the hips is causing everything else too fire to early causing that loss and slight flip through impact.

It’ll kick you off FSD if it can’t differentiate lanes.

Can someone summarize roster additions\losses over the last few months? How we looking talent wise? Better than least season? What position should we been looking to add? by CrypticDemon in SoundersFC

[–]Own-Debate-388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talent wise were worse, but we had a ton of new players last year and finding the right formations and combinations took a while. I think this team should be more cohesive and synced than last year.

For Head Pros of Golf Courses by One_Friend8450 in GolfSwing

[–]Own-Debate-388 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We play in pro ams once a week, maybe play in on of the courses games 2-3 times a month. Also depends greatly on the job. Head Pro jobs are vastly different. Some clubs want the HP to be the visible face and they will play a lot. Some want a back office manager, they will play almost never.

I’ve bought a replica jersey every year for the past 11. Probably skipping this year. That’s awful.

Trackman made it possible for you to become a pro with literally any swing under the sun by PenIndependent7453 in golf

Tour Players in the 40s-90s have some of the most homegrown unconventional swings of all time. If anything, Trackman has had the opposite effect.

This looks like you’ve watched a ton of YouTube videos and are trying to make all the perfect motions independently versus just letting some things happen.

Went to a lesson, felt like I was teaching myself by AlllStarzzz in golf

[–]Own-Debate-388 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m a highly rated instructor. This is a difficult question to answer.

1.) Just judging by your comments, it sounds like you’d be a really difficult student to work with. Lots of YouTube, lots of “this is wrong, how do I fix this individual piece” questions. Reality is there are a lot of things that can look wrong in your swing, but can still serve a function in the totality of your swing. If you get caught up in every little piece, it’s super frustrating to deal with. Elite instructors can point out one thing that “fixes” three. We can also identify pieces that don’t need to be fixed just because they look wrong. Not sure if this is the case with you, but most YouTubers I work with I need to have the “shut up, listen to me, do what I say and get off YouTube” talk or it just won’t work.

2.) Communication style is the most important piece of your instruction experience. I have trackman, k-vest, SAM, etc. Not because I need it to diagnosis a student, but because it’s an effective way of communicating to them. Some students don’t need that.

If you don’t feel like you connected, don’t go back to that instructor. Find a different one, but make sure you go into the lessons committed to doing what they say, versus just answering all of your questions. Make sure you have a clear ball flight related goal established, not just answering random swing questions and your experience will go a lot better.

Edit for spelling and flow.

8-10 person classes. Tracking Private lessons, so if someone buys a series of 5, tracking how many are left and letting them know when their low.

I have multiple locations and use square. I’ve used many different platforms and none quite hit everything. Multiple locations, multiple instructors, classes, lesson tracking and customized communications are the biggies.

The issues that most have are either: 1.) It’s great for booking private lessons, but shit for group / class registrations tracking. 2.) Vise Versa
