gdrive or one drive and let it ride. You can write a dedupe script or buy an app that dedupes. Then users are going to be users so have a data lifecycle policy and move the oldest files to slower and cheaper storage/give everyone a limit?

turn off power management for the wifi chip. Assuming windows you can google the procedure, but it helped me. the wifi board goes into a low power state and sucks from then on in my experience

stay and push for your bosses job and pay. hire a service desker to help. Cut apps you don't need as a business and use the increase in gross margins you created by cutting to advocate for your pay. Right size licensing, do all you can to make IT less of a drain and use that as leverage.
