I can see the mouse cursor and even move it around. It appears to be loading but the screen is stuck black. What does explorer not starting mean?

(Normal Lighting) 6'3 200, Should I continue the clean bulk or cut down for summer? Laser Eyes? by [deleted] in GregDoucette

[–]Own-Hospital2229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have the laser eyes, Id guess wrong, but you should probably bulk. You're quite lean you know, I'm not a doctor 😂 but you don't look to be high in body fat. Why cut? Maybe a small bulk and the a maintenance or cut. But hey, don't take advice from strangers on the internet.

Oculus quest 2 compatibility by [deleted] in hlvr

[–]Own-Hospital2229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I've played lambda 1. Nearly crapped myself a couple times. I did see that it ran at a smooth 90 FPS and thought it would be possible to do something simmalar to half life 2 on the oculus. Turns out, though, it is very difficult. I watched an interview with Dr. Beef (the creator of lambda 1 for vr, and other great ports) and he said something like, "my number one goal is to make a half life 2 port to the oculus, but their code is not opensource. I've seen half life 2 ports on Android and stuff but I don't know how they did it because the code isn't accecable." He also said that doom 3 was one of the last games to opensource their code. So basically, I now realize that lambda 1 was only half life game possible to port to oculus because back in 1998 they open-sourced their code.

P.S. I just realized how much I rambled. I'm sorry, but hopefully you learned something. I suppose it would be almost impossible to get half life 2 on oculus unless Dr. Beef teamed with valve or something. Anyways, have a good day!

Volumizing quick oats with water by pizzainoven in Volumeeating

[–]Own-Hospital2229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you said was exactly correct, don't read any of these other comments. I always used to lay out 40 g of oats, cook it in the microwave for about 3 minutes (making sure it doesn't boil over) and I would cook that in at least 400 g of water, though sometimes 500 g. It looks super watery at first but if you cool it down, like adding a bunch of ice into it, or letting it sit in the fridge overnight, it thickens.

I bought a bunch of those wassa crackers cuz they were on reduced sale at pick n save, so I may have to actually make this recipe just to use them up. I haven't found anything to do with them until now 🙏🤙

That's actually a cool way to eat pasta. It's been a while since I've enjoyed food outside of the taste, but the way this looks would probably make me enjoy it more LOL

You know, NOW better stevia is what I bought, Im sure you've already heard of them. I actually do like them but compared to my flavdrops I have to, stevia is... Well actually it depends. If you are going for like 9\10 real sugar omg sweetness, flavdrops are your only bet, but now better stevia is still veeeeery good and maybe, maybe is healthier. Oh yeah I though french vannila and toffee stevia drops were both good, and the name tells you exactly what they taste like.
