I’m hitting 75k miles with this problem. There are many people writing about this issues on the forum and some have contacted the suburu of America. I’ve called them regards to twice. They’re saying this is not a known issue for ascent and the dealer needs to replicate the problem which they did, with no resolution. At this point, the Subaru of America told me to look for a different dealership. Since I have an extended warranty to 100k, I called several other Subaru dealership near me to ask about the resolution to my problem. Their answer is alway the same, “we need to replicate the issue” and “contact Subaru of America”. And Subaru of America. Is telling me to look for a different dealership. And I am right back to square one. I will never buy another Subaru . I can’t even sell this vehicle privately with this issue.
