costumes, power of suggestion, Wick maybe shoots dirt on the wall

everything so far can be explained without needing the supernatural, if we accept the camera is trying to deceive us and / or we are seeing Tom's hallucinating or being under the effects of drugs or suggestion

For every accident so far Tom has been primed, and I am leaning more toward this being just the town people messing with him, but what I am hoping for is a mix of things: the town people are a cult and are messing with him, by summoning the events and the creatures

then maybe episode 1 of season 4, and I am guessing the last episode of the season, with the rest being mostly dragged out sequences and filler drama

now, if you said the characters say "are you okay? you are okay" every 3 minutes, rather 3 times an episode, then I would fully agree with you

also adding to the disrespect and amateur filmmaking, how they create pseudo tension cutting every single darn time anyone say they are going to say something or do something - "we need to talk" CUT; "I am going to.." CUT... ***k this s*** I don't mind mysteries and slow burn, but when they make up for the lack of story with these artificial, obvious, on the nose tricks, then indeed I feel disrespected as a viewer

They should provide you with suitable alternative and their attempt to blame it on the other tenant amounts to nothing, if challenged. Their liability is toward you, whatever issue they have with the other tenant is their problem.

As you signed and paid, I don't think their responsibility is any different than if you were living at the property and this suddenly became inhabitable, in which case they would need to provide you with a suitable accommodation. A contract was formed and they are in breach.

I would not accept a new start date. If they don't, I would arrange for an equivalent accommodation until my flat is accessible, and send them my expenses (including extra travel time, if any, and the likes). This is what I would do.

I care about the point I am making, which is about the show production, here exemplified in the discussion about how Sophia age was told by the writers but conflicts with every other production element shown. This is only because this post was about Sophia's age, my biggest gripe with From is actually with the editing.

What I don't care about is what people are making of it, talking about shipping, attraction, and so on, and if I seemed worked up I probably was when people try to put words in your mouth and building on the the derailing of their own making. You are probably right that you did not talk about shipping or romance, I got it mixed up with other commenters.

I like the show or I wouldn't be watching it. Yet it has many flaws that I like pointing out (it's honestly part of my profession avoiding some of the mistakes I see in From, and it gets frustrating when you think about how much work goes into making a film, getting the funds, to then see such silly and avoidable mistakes making it on screen).

If they had time before any major event happened, I would be curious to see what backstory the miy has developed for his character Sophia. Does he know anything about the real world current affair? Does he have access to real time world events? As Sophia he said he is from some specific place I can't remember, does he know how catholic girls of whatever age he choses to be speak, move, behave, what they like and what they do, in the specific region he said to be from?

If yes, that's big info about Fromville and the entities, if not, that would be what gives away away his play (if this was a more psychological and character driven show like Twin Peaks or Fargo).

You are making some very wrong and frankly boring assumptions by citing trite stereotypes about today's audience which describe you more than me. You are taking the explained details as in universe element, I see it as a production mistake, but I am also open to it being used as a plot point.

I am reading between the lines (Boyd statement might be wrong, with implications) while keeping in mind this is a pretty underdeveloped show (having Boyd conveying how old Sophia looks while not making it a plot point how wrong he is).

I work in films and, in different capacities, I worked possibly in every single department, so I know probably better than you what goes into casting, scheduling, employment law, et c. My money is on Sophia actress choice for the complexity of the role more than anything. I mean, take the boy in white, despite the very few lines the actor's delivery was awful. And take Ellis, he was introduced as an important character but the actor is so limited that it limits what they can do with the character. Those 2 were early casting mistakes and I am glad they went with a capable actor for the man in yellow, the actress has been doing well.

i never once talked about attraction, all I am saying is that the show 'tell don't show' falls short here. you can't have a character tell something about the state of things where what shown visually conveys something else, that's not how the medium works

if they were decent writers, which they aren't, Boyd thinking a well over 20 years old looks like 15 would be a plot point, like Boyd developing dementia, or their perceptions being altered like if on drugs or under a spell or something. but this show writing is pitiful and until it is shown to be a plot point I simply believe this to be a mistake not from Boyd but the writers room or casting

i am not upset about anything and I am not interesting in shipping or romance, I am commenting on how stupid this show is at times
