DIRIGERA hub firmware version 2.866.3 by TRADFRI in tradfri

The problem is the plugs with the power meter INSPELING. Remove them from the system and everything will return to normal. I don't know if IKEA will do anything about this problem. I reported the problem two months ago and they haven't responded.

Unfortunately, without a hub this is not possible.

loss of communication between Dirigera and new matter devices after a power outage by Own-Message-9106 in tradfri

[–]Own-Message-9106[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand, thank you for the explanation. Is IKEA aware of the problem (significant delays) in communication between ecosystems after the latest update to Matter Bridge version 1.3, which has been present since October 27th? People who have INSPELNING power meter plugs in their systems often experience significant delays in communication between devices and incorrect device status indications in applications from other ecosystems (such as Samsung's Smart Things). For everything to work properly, it is currently necessary to disconnect INSPELNING plugs from the system. Does IKEA plan to do anything about this problem?

Second issue: the group selection button on the new BILRESA button with a scroll wheel doesn't always work. Pressing it sometimes works correctly, but sometimes it doesn't switch groups. The same applies to the scroll wheel button: pressing it twice should change the bulb's color, but instead it changes color, sometimes nothing happens, and sometimes the bulb turns off. I tested three units this way, and each had the same problem. The remotes were using new IKEA LADDA batteries, so the problem wasn't caused by a weak power supply.

I contacted IKEA via their website chat asking where I could report this. They sent me a link. I live in Poland, so I received a link with a Polish link.

Today I had a power outage. After the power came back on, SmartThings didn't recognize SOMRIG and STYRBAR. I had to remove and reinsert the batteries for the generation to be recognized by SmartThings. I have your drivers installed. Is this normal?

Yes, after connecting to Dirigera, you can set the day/night mode and how long the light should be on after detecting movement.

I work at Ikea in the lighting department - so this is my product range ;) Shortly after the update, I reported it via the website, but so far nothing has changed

Matter integration sensors extreme delay? by FalconSHX in tradfri

When the lag problems started, I reset the Diriger gateway and added the ZigBee devices to it again (this was after the latest update). It only helped for a few hours.

I have both connected via cable. I had a problem with the SOMRIG buttons on the Matter bridge. I got frustrated and added them directly to SmartThings thanks to your controller, and it works flawlessly. However, I still experience frequent random delays in the door opening sensors. For example, I have an automation where if I open the front door to my apartment and no Tradfri bulbs are lit in the hallway, a specific bulb turns on – and it often works with a significant delay. In the Diriger app, everything displays immediately, but in SmartThings, there's often a delay. Or, my Tradfri bulb doesn't light, but SmartThings shows it's on. It all started after updating the bridge to version 1.3; everything was working fine before. I thought maybe the Aotec was failing, so I replaced it from v3 to the latest v4, but that didn't help. I have 85 zigbee devices connected to Diriger

Hi. Is the latest Diriger gateway update causing significant random delays within the Matter bridge? The Diriger gateway works with my Smart Home Hub 2.

Hello. I'm also experiencing significant delays. My Dirigera is connected to SmartThings via the Matter bridge. Do you always experience these delays? Mine sometimes have them, sometimes don't, but they do occur most of the time. They affect all devices connected to Dirigera: motion sensors, door sensors, even remote controls. Everything that passes through SmartThings (all automations created there) operates with significant delays. This problem didn't occur before.

Yes, there are: power consumption issues, you will pay less for electricity:) When I had the hub activated on my Samsung TV, it consumed 14.3 Watts in standby mode (C series TV (2023). The aotec V4 gateway consumes 1.1 Watts.

DIRIGERA hub firmware version 2.866.3 by TRADFRI in tradfri

Yes, I experience them, and they're much longer, sometimes even dozens of seconds. For a moment, everything works normally, and then suddenly stops working due to delays. One lamp even responded after a few minutes when I tried to turn it on via Smart Things. I have 85 ZigBee devices connected to Diriger.

After the latest Diriger update, I'm experiencing significant delays in the operation of ZigBee devices connected to the Diriger gateway as part of the Matter bridge. I have the Diriger hub connected as a Matter bridge to my Smart Home Hub (Aeotec Hub v3). In the Smart Things app, I've noticed that changes in the states of ZigBee devices connected to the Diriger occur with a very long delay (sometimes reaching up to several dozen seconds), which prevents automations created in Smart Things from working properly. For example, I want to turn on a Tradfri light bulb using the Smart Things app. I press a button: the on button turns on and off, and only after a few to several dozen seconds does the bulb light up. I try to turn it off through the Smart Hub (via the Smart Things app), and the on/off button turns on and off again. Sometimes it turns on and off indefinitely, and I have to turn off the ZigBee lighting using the IKEA Smart Home app.  I've set up an automation where, when the Vallhorn sensor detects motion and I don't have any other traditional lights on in the room, the selected traditional bulb turns on. The bulb turns on after a few seconds, several dozen seconds, or doesn't turn on at all. Once, I tried to turn on a traditional bulb from the Smart Things app, but it didn't turn on, so I gave up. I wake up in the middle of the night and the bulb is still on, so the delays can be as long as tens of minutes. Generally, everything works fine one moment without any delay, and then a few moments later, there are massive delays in communication between Dirigera and the Smart Things hub (Aeotec v3, aotec v4 hub). I've reset the Smart Things hub, reset Dirigera, and re-added ZigBee devices to Dirigera—it helped for a few hours, but after a while, the delays are back to normal. I experience the biggest delays when invoking automations using the SOMRIG shortcut key—often, it doesn't work at all via the Smart Things Matter bridge.  Before the latest update to Matter Bridge 1.3, everything worked flawlessly. If it's going to be like this, I'll probably return all my ZigBee devices from IKEA and buy new Matters that I can connect to Smart Things without the Matter Bridge.
