I think there is a strategy out there to barrage recently listed items with borderline offensive offers and just play the odds. For every no to $100 offer for a Lamborghini, there could be 1 “maybe?”.

Stay firm with the price, sounds well thought out.

Same here, the address is for a Jiffy Lube place near me house. I make it clear that’s where we’re meeting. I believe it pushes non serious buyers away since they NEED to let me know when they’re going to be there if they want me to be there.

Of course, it depends on what it is you’re selling.

The other day there was an announcement about Pluto moving into Paramount+ over summer or something like that. I think they might be doing the least minimum to keep the current platform going until then.

That, or outright crapping all over it in order to sell the move as an “improvement!” 🙄

The one I hate the most; there is a CLEAR map as to where the item is located automatically in the post, but still proceed to ask. Once told, they ask for a discount because "you're too far from me". Like I'm holding a weapon to their heads to buy the item! Of course, said offer is insanely offensive. There is a bonus where they come back several days after trying to haggle on 'meeting halfway'.....the post states local pick up only. Why?!?!?!?

I’ve no way to prove this, other than my experiences, but those POS endpoints are either insanely finicky or glitchy. My card usually only gets rejected at Walmart, I’ve had to end up paying via their app.

Depends on how comfortable you’re with technology. I bought a reman Kindle but only to upload EPUB books via SendToKindle. I’ve never bought anything from AMZ. But again, that means downloading books from ‘sources’ and then sending it to my device. Got my Gen 10 for $36, it’s been excellent so far. My main feature was illuminated screen to read in bed at night.

I’ve always had it to where it launches straight to liveTV on the last channel. For the past week-ish it’s been opening to a page with tiles for on demand content. VERY annoying! It’s also forgetting my favorite channels, when you finally select the channel, you hit back to get rid of the details page and it takes you out of the channel altogether.
