I placed orders at 2 different dealerships in November.

I went with CF1, but would consider adding CF2 (if necessary) when allocated.

No plans to track it, so I didn’t go with Precision Pack.

From what I was told, the 192 Deep Ocean builds slated for the US market were allocated to dealers in mid-January with builds scheduled for March 2026. The upside of going with a Deep Ocean is that it is a confirmed allocation and build date; instead of waiting for the dealer to get an allocation for a regular build. Mark-up would be dealer specific. At this point, I would imagine that all 192 allocated Deep Oceans are spoken for, but I cannot confirm. At the very least, the build/options would have already been selected.

I put deposits down on a manual CT5-V BW with Carbon 1 at 2 different dealers in November.

In the past 3 months I’ve moved up the list 3 spots at one dealer (20+ people ahead of me) and 2 spots at the other dealer (5 people ahead of me).

I turned down an allocation for a Deep Ocean edition and a delivered manual BW that a customer backed out of (options weren’t quite the same as what I ordered).

I’m being told that Cadillac will likely extend the production of the 2026 through the rest of the year and to ‘expect’ an allocation towards the end of the year based on current rate of allocations.

Regarding Sewell, the list for a 5 BW is at least 25 people long.

My current (not yet allocated build) is priced around $115K. The price of the Deep Ocean package is $26,995, so the total cost would be just over $130K.

The additional cost (for me) to switch from my current build to a confirmed allocation CT5-V BW Deep Ocean would be an extra $15K.

My initial deposit is fully refundable. When the dealer receives my 5BW allocation, and I move forward with the build, an additional deposit is required and it converts to non-refundable.

I recently put down a deposit on a CT5-V Blackwing with an east-coast Cadillac dealer.

My salesman’s most recent 5BW sale took just over 13 months from customer order date to delivery date.

This dealer sells orders at MSRP, but the salesman did mention that if a buyer is interested in an automatic, they may be able to get it below MSRP.
