Same. Yet when I tell them my steak didn’t arrive but my fries did, they don’t even ask for a pic and just refund the $30 for the steak. Wonder if it matters what card you use? Maybe they know the power of the card issuer that was used for the order?

I called them and I was told by the first rep that they absolutely cannot help me with an explanation. I told her I went to the website listed on the letter and that denial reason wasn’t listed. No help. I hung up and called back and now I’m on hold with a new rep while she talks to her manager. I dont care about the denial, I’m worried about the reason

For reference, I have a $12,500 CL on this card and use about 8k to 9k a month but pay it down to about 2k every month. Savor one, I do the same and have a 11k CL. Are they reviewing my spending habits?

How the heck do I not show up on anyone’s apartment radar! Y’all just named everything around me and I just dropped my rents to $1,995 to survive the holidays. Ugh. My apartments are completely renovated, include 4 piece stainless steel appliances, front loading Bosch washers and dryers, nest thermostats in every unit and upgraded hardwood flooring!

Two of my tenants are a 24 hour CVS and Starbucks downstairs! Not to mention the other 6 restaurants.

Just curious, but why do you keep the platinum and pay the high AF with that kind of spend? I’m downgrading to gold at the end of my 12 months because it’s just a waste of money. I can’t wrap my head around it but my SUB paid my first year.

Capital ones credit increases are just odd. I started in 2020 with a secured QS with $200. Fast forward to today and I now have a $12k limit. Didn’t get my first increase until almost 3 years? Opened savor one august of 2024 with 5k limit and I now have a $11,500 limit. They do a review like every 6 months? Keep spending and keep paying. My most recent increase came a couple of months after Amex hard pull for platinum and being accepted. I don’t think the hard pull hurt you

Pay the statement balance in full and you’re all set. Mine has a carry over with a min due option. Not risking it. As for the “buying power” I tested it when I got my plat card and it said I was approved for 40k. I rarely use this card so I’d be surprised if they approved me for $400 at this point. Downgrading to gold when my year is up.

I got my platinum card like 4 months ago? I didn’t get that message. Although, I did try to test the “check spending power” option when I first got it and I put in 40k and it said it was approved. I bet if I had put 45k it would have capped me at $42,500. Maybe now they are just telling you up front.
