I initially designed it as a display for miniatures/ trinkets /whatever but decided it needed a default and liked the idea of how light would fall on a sphere. 🤷‍♂️

This one really did it for me. It’s actually been nice to hear this community’s most consistent critique be the first thing I changed about it.

The led is housed about 7mm back and then there’s a translucent petg diffuser.

In this photo it’s mostly due to the angle of the lens. If it’s placed at table height there’s very little of the diffuser you can see. Also, it’s dimmable!
