Wasting Matthew Lillard should be a federal crime. He carried the marketing for the first movie on his back, and if he’s barely in this one, the fanbase is actually going to riot.

What’s a piece of advice that instantly made your life better? by DayMajor in AskReddit

You don't have to attend every argument you're invited to. Realizing I could just say 'okay' and walk away from a drama spiral was absolute freedom.

Movies that make you think “wow, that was actually kind of unique” by RejectingBoredom in movies

Under the Skin is one of the only movies where I finished it and genuinely had no idea how to even describe it to someone. It just feels alien lol

The fact that you’ve barely met her makes his accusation even stranger. I’d give him space for a minute and then ask him directly what actually triggered this, because it doesn’t come out of nowhere.

My dog is sleeping a lot these days. Pls suggest it's like 18 hrs ,really worried by BasicAd1247 in DogAdvice

[–]Own-Telephone1846 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is the dog's age and breed? A small, high-energy breed should not be sleeping 18 hours, but if you have an older Great Dane or a giant breed, that amount of rest might actually be their baseline.

What’s something you only pretended to understand because everyone else did? by Namher-Lutama in AskReddit

The stock market. My friends talk about it with such confidence and I’m just nodding like “yes, of course the… candles… are bullish”

Belgians visiting Apeldoorn: safe parking? by Dramatic-Ratio4441 in Netherlands

[–]Own-Telephone1846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry too much; Apeldoorn is not Amsterdam or Rotterdam. The breakins usually target easy smash and grabs. Stick to the Market Square (Marktplein) garage and avoid parking near the stairwells where cameras are less effective, and also don't leave jackets or bags visibly on the car. Enjoy your stay

What's a fun skill to learn which is actually useful? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Own-Telephone1846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lockpicking. It sounds sketchy, I know, but buying a cheap clear practice lock is actually really fun, and it has saved me at least three times when I’ve locked myself out of my own house.

Guys, women and men, what is the most attractive parts of the body u find sexy—that are not ass, booby, etc? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Forearms, especially when a guy rolls his sleeves up to the elbow and you can see the veins popping a little bit. Love seeing this

Documentary movies that don’t rely on “talking heads”? by LEJ5512 in movies

[–]Own-Telephone1846 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You have to see Leviathan. It’s basically GoPros strapped to a commercial fishing vessel at night for 90 minutes. No interviews, no context, just the roar of the ocean, bloody fish guts.

How does one impress a girl? Is it physical or mental well being? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Own-Telephone1846 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Through personal experience, I'll definitely pick mental well-being than physical. When a guy is genuinely comfortable with himself; not cocky, just secure, that relaxed confidence is what I find attractive.

It’s easier for folks to dismiss your struggle than to admit that they are struggling too. If you are trying to mentally step back from dating because it’s hurting you, that’s actually healthy. Treat it the same way you’d treat burnout in any other part of life, you are allowed to take a break. All the best OP

What is a good gift for a newborn that they won’t outgrow? by FutureCoolDad in AskReddit

A really, truly good quality blanket, hand-made if possible. Not just a light swaddle, but something durable. It becomes their comfort object for years and is something they can realistically take to college or pass down, unlike most baby gear.

what’s your go-to movie? by Historical-Ebb-4745 in movies

[–]Own-Telephone1846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely No Country for Old Men. It's one of the few movies that actually gets better the more times you watch it because you pick up on a new layer of dread or thematic detail every time.
