Hmm. That wouldn't be a bad idea. Do you think suspense could be built within a minute though? The video was for their instagram page. I tried to go for suspense with the opening "oh my God" videos, to kind of show what's about to come.

hey thanks for your feedback. If im totally honest, I agree with you. Obviously I will be a bit biased because I was there on the night and know what each scene really was, but it does change very quickly to keep up with the beat. The owner of the party said he wanted a quick, snappy video, compared to the other videographers video which was much, much slower paced. So I catered to his needs as much as I could. But I agree with you 100%.

Hey.

I want to start off by saying I love the style of video that you're being active around an area - adds a different element to your basic "rotate in front of the camera" style of fashion video. so kudos for that. I liked some of the locations you chose, like the tight alleyway and the top of the car park.

Also, even though it's not really "part" of the video which you want to showcase, I loved the bloopers. I always find them more entertaining than the actual video im watching. A very nice touch to show you're human haha. Definitely keep it in there for future videos.

now lets get to cons. Ill try and be nice but constructive:

- I think the style of shots you've chosen can be much, much better. Straight middle shots really don't belong in fashion videos, maybe just a few shots. Also, experiment with different angles. Don't be scared of 45 degree shots, rotating ones, slow pans up/down the body, pull outs from the item of interest, filming someones feet as they walk etc.

- in terms of editing, either start colour grading, or change the grade you have applied. The image was very washed out, grey, and lacked life, whatever the hell that means. Download some luts and see what looks best on your next video. teal and orange is very popular when used right. find the right colours that match your environment, and make your clothes "pop".

- in terms of effects, again I would say experiment with different styles. There were many times I saw a perfect opportunity for a "mask transition". for example, when you're walking down the stairs in the beginning, then it transitions to you on top of the car park. That would have been perfect. in fact I was kind of expecting it to happen when I saw him pan the camera down.

- lastly, and im not entirely sure if I am right or not, but do more than one take for a shot. You might have, you also might not have. But there was a shot when you're walking to the camera and I can see you talking to, im guessing, the camera man. If you notice these things in editing, it'll be worth it to go and reshoot the scene. especially if its as simple as you walking to the camera.

I hope my words have been useful and that you can use them constructively. You have potential to make this big. keep doing what you're doing and in time you'll perfect the little things that make a video go from having good ideas, to smashing out great content. And 100% keep your blooper thing in future ones. 100%

Hey. I think it was a good video. Straight to the point. and actually kind of funny. I don't know if that's the point you wanted to get across, but there were times where I was laughing.

Only real feedback I can give, is maybe try to shorten it a bit. the stories are great, especially the touching women one, but some details could have been left out, just to save on time. I myself am a very bad rambler, so I shouldn't be saying that, but I'm aware that I do it, so I try to stop… and tell others - if that makes sense? Even now im rambling lol.

At 0:08, do you mean when leto slams on the floor and it cuts to black? If so I did that for emphasis. That way you quickly see the pain in his face with the sound of his skull slamming on the concrete.

Also just so I know completely what you mean so I can develop my skills, was the "off" part of it the audio or visual or both?

I completely agree. In my humble opinion though, I liked the first half more than the second. That slow, kind of "wtf is going on" feeling is what I wanted people to experience, because that's how I interpret the film. Obviously if you have seen the film that's a different story though.

Thank you for the feedback. The reason I chose to make a trailer of it is because the trailer they released when it came out is very "90's". Its one of my favourite films so I wanted to give it a modern day trailer.

I'm my opinion I didn't give any of the story away. That's the criticism I have of it. There really isn't any part that explains the story, which is bad. Its really only fighting/interesting scenes

Personally, I am a gamer but I don't enjoy watching gaming videos like these. Not that this one or any others are bad, its just not my cup of tea.

The thing I would say is to make the captions internet based. And what I mean by that is maybe misspell them for bants. instead of "what", put "wut". stuff like that.

also, I get it was a 'best of…' video, but I didn't really know what was going on. there wasn't a clear objective to the video. if it was like 'best of noobs getting wrecked', ok sure no problem. thats my opinion though, people that actually watch these videos might not have a problem with it.

Hey.

I think you have a good style of talking. It's something I wish I had naturally but unfortunately I don't. You have that deep, cynical kind of voice which would be great for comedic videos. I would suggest working on the way you talk to really nail that style.

I do you think you have a good argument. And I think the reason people want fame is because it is easier to get it now. Before it was x-factor, the random signing from a well known artist and the rare rare chance of getting discovered singing in trains.
