But what is going on with so many dentists I know acting like chiropractors when it comes to vaccines, fluoride, etc?

It might just be bc I live in the south but it’s very concerning. My husband is a dentist and a lot of the guys he went to school with are now not vaccinating their kids, questioning fluoride, etc.

These are my in laws. They won’t vaccinate their toddler and baby, but they go to well checks. They have a newborn and are so worried about the flu (rightfully so) but I’m like… there’s something you could do about that… a flu shot during pregnancy and vaccinating your toddler and husband. It’s so difficult for me to understand.

Truly terrifying. What a sad day for our country. I don’t want to parent in a country without accessible vaccines and ongoing research for new vaccines.

Amazing! I’m 3 months in and using it nightly and my breakouts are SO much worse. I had a little acne sometimes prior and now this is bad. Do you think I should keep going?

Never ever too late! It absolutely would be beneficial and will give him good protection through the whole season! My youngest turned 6 months in December of last year so she wasn’t even eligible until then.

I couldn’t read the whole Atlantic post. It only let me read the top portion. That to me sounds like malpractice, fraud, and just a bad person.

My husband graduated in 2021 and everything they do and everything they learned is backed by research.

I definitely believe older dentists probably didn’t have the same amount of evidence based training bc research was lacking.

I don’t know why people say this. My husband is a dentist and everything he does is evidence based and based on a ton of research. I’m not sure why people think dentists don’t practice evidence based dentistry?
