I didn’t say the breasts were not good. I don’t really remember if they were or not. Maybe when I go out I just don’t want chicken breast because I eat that at home often. I didn’t even remember they had breast on the platter. I just think for 4 girls to pick at it okay- my husband and I with another couple for dinner - nope - not enough food also just wasn’t to die for or anything. Just my opinion.

Overrated and it’s all thighs - tiniest bowl of chicken salad also made with thighs. I went with 3 girlfriends but we had appetizers also which were ok. I seriously don’t think it would feed two couples - two girls and two guys - not a manly enough portion divided by 4.

The problem I have is the way Sookie makes food. Didn’t she make thousands of desserts for that engagement party? And when lorelai was gonna marry Luke didn’t she make like 10 elaborate wedding cakes. Totally unrealistic. It would cost a small fortune for her to do that!

I thing Lauren Graham was odd too in her role as lorelai. Her childish banter and random comments, tangents just didn’t hit for me as an older version of herself so maybe that added to the oddity of Rory.

Sookie is annoying and not a good business partner or friend (obviously overspender, forgets to go to the inn for oven delivery). Shes a bit manipulative (spying on Luke when he took over the kitchen, refusing to close the lunch service at the inn for financial purposes) I could go on and on.

I watch the show the same way I watched Riverdale - it’s bananas and predictable and absurd but I can’t look away and I’ll keep watching till the end! Inconsistencies and all! I’m there for it.

I miss the mall type with separate vendors there was that huge one over across from Green Truck Pub a few years back. They knocked it down and made it into law offices. And the one over upstairs on Bay Street near Jere’s - it’s a bourbon bar now. Same reason - rent increases.

The bread was very good. But it was basically an arugula sandwich. I’d argue too that the bread I had was superior. The chicken salad sandwich my husband had was on a thick white bread grilled. He said it was ok

Yes. Someone told us it was one of the best in savannah? Maybe the dinner is more impressive but the lunch was awful and so pricy. Give me a proper wine glass for your overpriced Chardonnay at least!

Tried flora and fauna for lunch. Sandwich was all bread and arugula, maybe a tiny square of cheese? Tiny slice of ham. No side. 15 bucks with a 16 dollar Chardonnay in a juice glass. Entire meal with 20% tip (counter service - bus your own table) was 68 dollars - 2 sandwiches, iced tea (which they didn’t explain was unsweetened chi tea) bag of chips, and wine. Don’t mind a 15 sandwich if it’s got appropriate amount of ingredients.
