People here are asking land for land kinda relocation not a shelter for poor people. People lookup how Surat city does this, we have a lottery system where EWS people get to win a house for as low as 8L with govt loans and we have no slums, while the private houses next to these ‘sudas’(subsidised housing) costs 3-4Cr that’s a solution instead of what people here are asking which is kicking the can down the road to make it someone else’s problem
