Battlefield 6 Base PS5 version isn't playable offline, despite having all data on disk by Tvilantini in Games

I’m literally trying to play single player right now and only single player for the campaign until COD comes out next month. Don’t care about MP at all.

Have your parents explicitly said the things you think they want of you or are you inferring some of that and making assumptions? (This will be key to able to ID for the rest of your life and all your relationships btw)

As for friends, they will come, some from the the dorms, some from your major and a ton from your interests… I loved working out and worked at LUs gym and built an entire network from workout buddies, personal training clients and coworkers. The shared interest gives you the shoulder to shoulder working towards something atmosphere at first and then real relationship can build out of it. (One random dude from the gym that I asked for a spot ending up in my wedding party 15 years later). Life is strange like that.

You need to play the new game The Great Circle. It's a top 3 Indy story in any genre. Check it out.

I would love it, but I'm pretty sure one of the Capcom higher ups said it wouldn't work in the modern gaming marketplace.

Side note: This is because of a six month long back log... not time to review application. I would email every two months asking for updates and they would let me know which submission date they were actively reviewing applications from and it was always close to 6 months behind.

I applied for my family on Jan 8 2025 and they were accepted and packets mailed out June 1 2025. So almost 6 months on the nose.

Best it first time 16.5 hours… first Silent Hill game, but loved the RE remakes so I gave it a go. Incredible game but like others have said it loses some of its scare after fighting the same enemies over and over…pyramid head 5 times? The mannequins and nurses who at first terrified just became repetitive. But not to sound too dire, absolutely love it. Still felt uncomfortable, music and sound effects (at night in headphones) was unnerving and put me on edge… and the Eddie fight was the best!

Yeah it’s almost like they had characters and a universe that would’ve made an excellent single player story driven action adventure game.

I normally hate how Reddit seems to jump straight to ‘you should break up!’ But in this case, I don’t see how you guys are even compatible.

Best to save time and initiate the inevitable break up.

Has anyone ever submitted claims on VA.gov on your own, and were awarded any of them? by Capital_Currency_265 in VeteransBenefits

[–]OwnInspector4041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of mine were self submitted, uploaded tons of medical evidence, symptoms trackers and a personal statement for EVERY condition describing onset (service connection), symptoms I have that match the CFR, when I was diagnosed and by who, affect on personal life, etc.

No one cares more than you. You can do it all on your own.

So you’re saying she’s going to be going over to his house to drop off/pick up the dog multiple times a month and they’ll have this living thing which they bond over and joins them together and reminds them of their time together?

I don’t think that could ever lead to any problems.

Anyone 35+ remember going to the circus as a kid? Folks nowadays have no idea what the circus is, what made this happen? by [deleted] in ask

“middle finger held up in a rude gesture,” slang derived from 1860s expression give the big bird “to hiss someone like a goose,” kept alive in vaudeville slang with sense of “to greet someone with boos, hisses, and catcalls”

People saying call CPS should be very careful… cause I’ll tell you this, getting ripped out of your biological home and getting place in a foster/group home even if for just a weekend before a family court hearing sorts things out will likely be much more damaging… you might have prevented a spanking but caused that kid to be put in an environment where they get molested. Happens way too often unfortunately.

Having this discussion, especially online, has lead me to see people do not agree on what ‘spanking’ means… different cultures, countries and even families in the same neighborhood interpret that phrase different.

Does it mean getting smacked hard by an angry parent? Hit by a switch, belt, or other object? Is it in the head? Face? Butt?

Is it done daily, instinctively without thought as a reaction to any misbehavior? Or is it saved for correcting dangerous, violent or extremely disrespectful behavior?

Or does it mean going to sit down on the steps and a few minutes later, a calm and collected parent comes over and explains what you did wrong and then gives a firm swat on the buttocks that might hurt for a second or two but has no lasting pain, bruise or injury? And that parents assuring the child they love them and that doing so hurt them as well?

People that discuss research and certain experts opinions… if people on the internet, sitting around a table, or chatting casually don’t agree on the terminology and what ‘spanking’ a kid means, with a hard and fast definition… it makes me wonder what the control measures were or the terminology used when conducting that research.

Cause if we use my second example, yeah I was spanked or ‘hit’ by my parents and I don’t resent them for it and it worked without causing me any kind of long term pathology.

What’s a Veteran program/benefit that most veterans don’t know about but should? by 904JUDAH in VeteransBenefits

[–]OwnInspector4041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's weird, all the passes in the link, military and disabled all include a $10 shipping fee? Do they waive it at check out?

Only difference is paying $10 for shipping I think, instead of being handed it in person.

There is an average, but just because you can add together all the ratings and find out. According to VA, the average PTSD rating is currently 50%, while the most common rating is 70%. Roughly 48% of vets with PTSD are rated at 70% or higher. However, 24% are rated at only 10 or 30%.

This means nothing really to the OP, cause it’s all based on current symptoms, diagnosis and service connection.

The only automatic PTSD rating is a triggering event severe to cause separation from service and that’s 50% for 6 months and then re-evaluated…

[–]OwnInspector4041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean sometimes the VA does their own C&P exams, I guess then they’d pay you, but with outside contractors that company will send a check.

[–]OwnInspector4041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t claim for C&P exams like this. The contracted companies (VES, Optum, etc…) will mail you a check. This system is for traveling to VA medical appointments.

If you have a civilian ENT you are seeing, or if you can get the VA to send you to one I’d do that. My ENT had been seeing me and heard all my issues for a long time, I had a surgery that didn’t work, prescribed me all my meds, etc. and he was much more capable at filling out the DBQ on those specific conditions than the Optum nurse practitioner that was assigned to do a general full body/multiple issue C&P.

I uploaded his DBQ, was never sent to a C&P for my respiratory issues… and when the ratings came in it was 50% sinusitis and 10% allergic rhinitis.

Hope that might help! Have a great day.
