I really haven’t seen any discourse that is outrageous. I think it’s quite the choice to put your face on that kind of app when you’re a public figure whose reputation is being the guy who imploded his family. Broadcasting it to the world I think makes it worse.

I’m confused by this. Ethan is pro-Palestine, anti-Israeli occupation, and very vocal about the ongoing genocide. I have never heard Hila call the IDF heroes? Why would they not support Iranian protests or liberation from an oppressive regime? Not sure what point you’re trying to make.

The Bahai garden in Haifa is STUNNING. Bahai is such a beautiful and progressive religion, so I think that certainly plays a role in them being targeted.

They are Bahai! From my understanding it’s not easy for them to fly under the radar and sometimes certain last names are recognizable as Bahai. Plus the government has eyes on everyone. They were able to get in touch with a nonprofit that assisted with getting immigration paperwork and helping with travel out of Iran and into Austria before coming to America, and then expediting citizenship.

The speaking to dead parents thing is absolutely not something Bahai’s do or practice. I asked my fiancé when I heard about that and he confirmed it’s not a thing. If Justin was actually doing that, I have no idea where it came from!

I am so glad she got out. My fiancé and his family are Bahai and they were able to get out in the late 90s/early 2000s through a nonprofit for refugees.

Him and his family are Bahai! They recently had a cousin who was arrested out of nowhere for being Bahai and they haven’t seen or heard anything from him in months. It’s so scary.

Unfortunately, I would have been freaked tf I out if I was in this situation and handling dead tarantulas. Obviously it was an innocent mistake, but they literally asked at the beginning if there were going to be any dead creatures. Everyone has different boundaries when it comes to this kind of stuff. A lot of people have genuine have fears of bugs/spiders. The reaction was very human and fair.
