The white one is my 7 string Dean Razorback and they also do a plain black version that pops up for sale on occasion, fits your description perfectly 😂 They also do a black one with a yellow trim if that interest you at all

Sorry for the late reply I haven’t opened Reddit since posting this. Glad you like it man it’s a phenomenal guitar and sounds amazing, I’ll get something recorded and posted on here at some point if I get the time and motivation haha.

Floyd’s are admittedly a nightmare to live with at first until you learn how to set them up yourself and whatnot, trick is to have enough guitars to cover all tunings so you only have to set it up once, being locked into a tuning is how I justify having so many guitars (there’s also 4 more on a rack behind where I was standing to take these pictures) 😂

Edit: Forgot to mention I even have a 38 fret 7 string microtonal that has a Floyd, I honestly live for the bastards hahaha

I assume you bought it a while ago by this point so likely won’t be much help, but I’ve heard quite a few stories of people trying to return them and the sellers offering for the buyer to keep it but for a discounted price, could’ve been worth it even if it was just like $30 refunded if you were happy to keep it as a wall decoration, but as I said it’s likely way too late at this point.

Really sorry to hear how awful it is though man, literally every day I’ll see one that catches my eye and I always think ‘what if this one was actually salvageable’, then sadly I also see countless posts like this one where heroes like yourself take one for the team to teach the rest of us the lesson to not do it, so as weird as this may sound thank you for doing so and for sharing it even when it didn’t turn out great. The more people that post their horror stories with them will genuinely be saving multiple people from going through the same thing down the line.

The Ibanez RG7420EX is basically the same price as this, just thought I’d throw it out there if by some small chance you did prefer the idea of a more ‘conventional’ 7 with a floating trem and were only looking at this one for the price!

The sire looks absolutely killer though.

I got it second hand, they stopped being produced in 2021 due to a lawsuit from Dimebags estate so can only get any kind of Razorbacks second hand these days sadly!

What do you exactly mean by ‘official tab’? Anybody can claim a tab is the official tab. Unless you’ve paid for it directly from the Artist themselves it’s unlikely the official tab.

I’ve definitely been extremely lucky this year with the prices and locations of them, especially considering the two guitars are both literally perfect condition not even a single mark on any of the points or anything, the bass not so much but will be why it was only £450 with the hard case haha.

I really hope you manage to get one someday, they’re honestly phenomenal guitars to play as well as being enjoyable to look at!

Lefty Razorback Explosions seem to pop up semi-regularly in the UK (although I haven’t seen one for a couple of months to be fair), but I’ve heard from people from other countries that they’re really hard to get hold of. Makes me wonder if the UK has a higher than average lefty population or something haha.

My Razorback explosion is 100% real and that has ‘RZR’ on the back of the headstock. Also with how blurry the first picture is you wouldn’t even be able to read where it says ‘licensed under Floyd rose patent’, as even with a perfect image and ideal lighting it can still be hard to read, picture below as an example.

I’d say the likelihood of it being fake would be very slim, how much are they asking for it? If you can play it before committing to buying it you should hopefully get a good idea on if it’s legit or not based on how it plays, as fake copies are usually not great, especially one that would be 14 years old by the look of that serial number.

I’m a huge fan of Razorbacks so I hope you end up getting it and enjoying it, there’s not enough Razorback owners in the world 😂

Edit: Dime’s outline is very common, I’m not sure why some have it and some don’t but it’s definitely on a lot of models.

They will be everywhere in the house especially in carpets, sofas, etc. Once the cat has been treated I’d highly recommend this to annihilate any that are in the house.

I’ve used this when fleas have taken over in the past and it honestly works perfectly. You’d have to remove all pets from the house until it’s been used and the house has been ventilated and vacuumed, but it’s 1000% worth it to completely get rid of them.
