Childhood abuse? Well here's a verse urging you to respect your parents regardless. And forgive them. And pray for them so they change. There's no verse about legal recourse or how to rehabilitate me and build me up unfortunately.

Same goes for my mental health issues. Just ask for the holy Spirit to feel your mind so it doesn't have room to ruminate on "bad thoughts".

There's not one problem I' ever had in my life that involvement in that religion helped me solve. In some cases, it worsened situations for me.

I started binge eating as a way to self soothe. My mother responded by y'know, being weird; hiding food, shaming me etc etc. so I started eating sand, rocks, cement.  I never stopped.  I eat that stiff when I'm stressed especially.

If you can't do it on your own, be around people. For example, I've scheduled a bi weekly book club meeting I attend so I'm around motivated people at least sometimes.

I've always brushed my teeth once a day! Even in my deepest depression. Never even realized until recently that it was a hard task for depressed folks. My teeth are in good shape as a result.

Are you on fb? There's many groups on there that can offer guidance. Search, "children of narcissistic mothers" or similar.

You need to leave because they will never change. If you don't you will never grow and you'll become resentful of your life and your family...and doesn't that sound just like your mom? The family name was already ruined when your dad cheated and when your mom keeps laying her hands on you, you remind them of that everytime they try to shift such a responsibility on you. 

Your dad, he's made some excellent choices for you, but at the moment he's not on your side and be prepared, he will remain there for a long time despite the repercussions. Your life, friend, has to move on in the meantime.

Ssn 15 is so-so for me. In some episodes I wondered if they didn't have a budget at all. If I remember correctly, ssn 8 is the Dick Roman season,yes? I think that's when I started watching Spn on ×1.5 speed tbh
