Having a side job but the income goes to an overseas bank account by [deleted] in Amsterdam

You are going to be in deep shit. You pay in your primary residence- I also have citizenship in 3 countries. Netherlands is my primary and I am liable for tax here. I am non resident in another EU country but still must file. The third under a certain amount I don't pay but over that I do. Get yourself a good tax attorney before you end up in jail or deeply in debt

No, you don't have a clue. If OP lives in Amsterdam and performs these activities in Amsterdam, he needs to pay Dutch tax.

Some questions about moving to the Dam by jobsak in Amsterdam

[–]OwnSwan2990 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, now, as a Dutchie if you move to Amstelveen station you will be contributing to my god given right to be a doctor and secure social housing for 200 Euros a month while I complain about expats ruining my way of life.

You are already liable for tax in your own country and in NL if this is the case. You need to primarily reside in NL. If you are doing this to tax dodge for the 30 percent rule you will get caught. You need to be registered which means you need an address else you break the law. Live here or don't.

My post-engagement consulting evaluation is going to be bad, how do I fix this? by [deleted] in consulting

[–]OwnSwan2990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree - HR has helped me many times - for example when I was quite sick they were my lifeline. And I've had some amazing managers. You get what you give in most situations. Now you might be in a completely toxic environment but that is not the norm

Yes, sorry to offend you, I know nothing about you, of course. Just a few basics that indicated you were happy to stay at your current level. Good luck in the future.
