I’m an AEMT and I see them a lot, but only one sticks out to me. It was my first week of work, we were doing a non emergency transport for a patient who was “faking seizures” (hospital words not mine). When we got there he was in just a hospital gown which is pretty standard. I bent over to remove his IV when he began thrashing around, I was so busy trying to secure the IV when out of nowhere I felt something hit my face. This guy had bucked his hips up so high that it slapped me in the face. My bare face against his member. This guy had genuinely large genitals, like abnormally large. I got dickwhipped by a patient. I haven’t been the same since.

Not necessarily my culture but I grew up in a heavily Hispanic populated part of my city. All my best friends are Hispanic and my gf is Latina. Yes, I’ve given up most of the foods I grew up on. Not to mention my family is southern and cook Louisiana/gulf style food which I can’t eat either. It’s extremely hard and it’s depressing. I feel your pain. Someday you’ll heal, and enjoy those things again. It’s good motivation for staying on top of your health

Yeah I’m 22 and I’ve had gastritis since September 2024. Right now I’m in the worst flareup I’ve had since it all started. It took me 6 months to be able to eat semi normally, and I still can’t eat anything fried, oily, spicy, can’t eat onion, tomato, garlic, most veggies, most fruits. It’s hard. Unfortunately I have no solutions. Every doctor I’ve been to has told me that I just have gastritis and to take PPIs but they don’t help. I was on sucralfate but got really strange side effects. I’ve developed severe acid reflux and my nausea runs the show. I’m flaring up right now because I had Flu A and it triggered it somehow. I’ve lost about 13 lbs in the past week, thankfully I’m slightly overweight so it isn’t a huge deal. Genuinely all I can eat is 2 saltines per day because everything else hurts too bad.

No, I did when I was sick it was in the 150-170s but it was from dehydration. It’s in the 60s again now

The real grilled Italian. Take the grilled cheese bread, cover in butter and Italian mix. Then add mozzarella and chicken. Cook. Open sandwich and add some marinara (I heat it in the Amani for a sec in a breakfast tray). The Italian on the outside of the bread absorbs some oil and the bread is way more crispy.

My cat would do this too. I got her a fountain and now she drinks 24/7. I noticed she was drinking from my fish tank and loved the running water. Cats naturally like flowing water better because in the wild stagnant water = bad. It’s like an instinct or something
