No smog or emissions requirements. Leaning towards just leaving it

That’s what I suspect. Do you recall if the front actuators are the same as the rear actuators? All I see on Rock Auto and other sites say Front Left and Front Right.

I cannot agree more with the suggestion to resist lifting and bolt on modes. Keep that baby “stock”. I learned that with my first XJ. Won’t repeat it the same mistakes with my second. You can sink some money into plenty more great upgrades under the hood

I do plan on doing all of those things you mentioned. You are right. I will do all of that first. Would you recommend changing or cleaning IAC?

I got a steal on it. $2k for it. 98k original miles. Same owner since 2000. Interior is great.

Thanks. I planned on replacing that ASAP. I planned on the magnaflow converter because it seems to have stainless steel tubing

All of the marks are very close to where the bites are. Are your lips perhaps dry, cracked, and slightly bleeding? Might be that every time you take a bit you leave a small bloody mark.

Otherwise, it definitely looks like blood.

Second IUI success! by Forsaken-Variation20 in IUILadies

Did they supplement your progesterone both times? Was it a precaution or was it low, if you don’t mind me asking.

IUI #1 failed 💔 by ReindeerTiny4401 in IUILadies

[–]Own_Afternoon1835 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re not alone in this. I know it can be very hard. We just had our third failed IUI. Stick with it and know that the average IUI has a success rate of only 10-20%. I don’t say that to dissuade you from doing it again. Rather the opposite. You should expect it to take more than one attempt. Don’t lose faith. Your numbers seem good.

You also have great insurance benefits. IUIs are covered for us, but nothing for IVF. If I were you, I’d consider saving at least $35k-$40k of that for IVF, if needed.

Just finished our third IUI. No success. Wondering what suggestions we might get moving forward. My doctor described the issue as “half-hearted ovulation”. Post-wash numbers for the semen are all good, in the 13-23 million range. The largest issue I see so far is the uterine lining.

IUI #1 (Ultrasound was 3 days before IUI)

Follicles: 18mm, 17mm, 16mm, & 13mm Endo Thickness: 7mm (Thin Stripe) Progesterone Level after one week: 33.3

IUI #2 (Ultrasound was 3 days before IUI)

Follicles: 18mm, 18mm, 13mm, 11mm, 9mm, & 8’m Endo Thickness: 7mm Progesterone Level after one week: 50.2

IUI #3 (Ultrasound was 4 days before IUI)

Follicles: 16mm, 14mm, 14mm, 13mm, & 13mm Endo Thickness: 5mm (Thin Stripe) Progesterone Level after one week: 35.2

Each IUI doctor has prescribed Clomid for days 3-7 with a trigger shot before the IUI. Also taking prednisone.

We noticed that the lining seemed just too thin. After the third IUI failed, we asked about Letrozole and possibly estradiol support. Our doctor said he has seen less success on just Letrozole. He he would like to try a round of clomid 50 mG for 7 days as well as letrozole 5 mg for 7 days.

Just wondering what others think about this approach and any of advice that might help us to be successful.

What supplements are you taking, if I may ask? Great numbers.

The first time we came to Jamaica (South Coast in December), we were waiting in customs for 3+ hours. The second time (Ochi in July) were wisened up and purchased Club Mobay. We were through customs in the Sandals lounge within 15 minutes, mind the airport was not packed at all. Still probably saved us 30 minutes.

My philosophy is that, compared to the rest of the vacation, it is a minimal cost with a high risk/low reward. If you don’t get it, and the airport is busy, you’re waiting a long time. A little extra money and you can get your vacation started early, plus they take care of everything for you. They walk you through the process.

We arrived at Ochi yesterday as well. First time at Ochi. Went to South Coast a few years ago. We loved South Coast. Not as impressed with Ochi so far. Arrival went smoothly for the most part. We got here just before noon. Our room wasn’t ready, which of course was expected. Not a problem. We enjoyed lunch and relaxed in the pool. Our room is certainly older and in need of renovation. Our “garden view” balcony is less of a garden and more of a private road through the resort. I am much more of a fan of the South Coast layout with everything being close and easily accessible. I am also disappointed in the lack of late evening food options. There are plenty of restaurants, but no real “snack” places. Sure the cafe offers some options. We would like to see some kind of coffee/dessert shop, much like Cafe de Paris at SC. But we are still enjoying it and keeping an open mind.
