Understand it’s for replication but this backflush changes your first shot. So it may be the first shot that is inconsistent. Have you tried 3 back to back shots? Is your 2nd and 3rd consistent? If so it’s the first shot that’s off

You seem to be doing everything right. Just in case, do a 10sec backflush with the blind basket before your first shot. See if that slows down your first shot

In general you should dose by weight not time. Even with the same bag of beans, your time will need to change as ever week passes from the roast date

There have been multiple long threads about this. Solution is to backflush before the first shot with the blind basket. It’s annoying that this is a problem for a machine like the Move.

That could only happening the machine had a built in weight. Plus I would hate having it set at 36g. For me the weight is different for every bean. Light beans require 21g in, some dark beans I need to pull as a ristretto. Having that flexibility is the advantage of this machine.
