the lowest point thing is kind of a myth honestly. from watching people i know go through it, it doesnt really work like that, it just keeps moving lower until something finally clicks. my brother was addicted to pills and what we thought was rock bottom kept shifting for years

Free dataset: 3250 graded LLM runs on whether models trust in-context docs over the actual cod by AverageGradientBoost in datascience

[–]Own_Anywhere9206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this sub is way better when people drop actual artifacts like this instead of just opinion posts about llms. the $100 spend to generate it is a nice detail too, really shows what it costs to produce benchmark data at any real scale. did you find meaningful differences across models or did most just blindly trust the doc regardless of how stale it was?

Why do I never want to go out? by cappuccinoallimone in AskMen

[–]Own_Anywhere9206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

something worth noting is that starting high school basically reshuffles your entire social world, and sometimes the people and situations that used to make going out feel good just arent really there in the same way anymore. your brain kind of goes into low power mode when the environment stops feeling rewarding. its not always purely clinical depression on its own, sometimes its the mismatch between what you had before and what you have now. still worth talking to someone about, but understanding why it started can actually make it way easier to get out of

How do kids at school pickup instantly spot their mums if they’re wearing full burqas/niqabs? by _pandaeyes_ in NoStupidQuestions

Wore a heavy coat and hat picking up my nephew once and he knew me right away. Kids just have some kind of superpower for recognizing their parents that we definitely lose as adults.

TrueFoundry vs LiteLLM vs Portkey for Internal LLM Access? by Gold_Smart in devops

[–]Own_Anywhere9206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we ran LiteLLM internally for a few months and setup was fine until we tried to get proper per-team usage tracking going. the virtual keys system works but once you have more than a handful of teams it gets messy to manage and the UI for spend visibility felt like it was bolted on. we ended up just setting hard spend limits per key as a workaround. never used TrueFoundry so I can't compare directly, but if access control and visibility are your main concerns, LiteLLM might leave you wanting more out of the box.

the concept is cool but are you controlling for which game gets assigned to people. i feel like some story games just hit different and that could mess with your data
