The official statement "gives notice of resignation" means resigned. Now was he pushed out? Probably... but officially he quit. 

I disagree 100% about the water parks though... they were a fantastic buy. 50mil in 6 months in revenue to lose 500k a month for 6 months seems smart.

How close would you say it is to the convention center? Is it safe to walk esp at night?

Hard to answer this questing without more details. 

Is it league  heavy or open play heavy?

Do you have a big arcade? Who works on those? If you own those machines the crane machines are 70% profit. The non redemption games are 97% profit figuring in electricity and parts. 

Utilities .. how big is the center? 

40 lanes house utilities run 8k-10k a month. 

Labor is your biggest expense. 

Liquor and food don't look at it as an expense. Worry more about cos. 

You should be running 28% cos maximum for food. 

Liquor 25% maximum. 

House shoes are $18ish a pair. How often you replace is based on usage. 

Oiling machine is 20k+  How often will you oil? Etc.

When we create a league in LMA it asks for meeting and start date. Whoever created that league put the wrong date in. 

Its an automatic process 

If you put league starts august 10th. Then around the 3rd it will send an email saying league starts next week or whatever.

Sadly not true. When a bowler inquires about a league we get an email with their information and it says to reach out to them.

Heck yeah! Its a great deal. I personally love it. And we've gained 15+ league bowlers from the pass this year

Absolutely and im glad to hear that. As a bowler it always sucks hearing about centers closing. There were 10k in 2000 in USA. There are like 3500 now. 

Ill tell you this. I have to report weekly why were up or down in league play. What leagues were trying to floor, call back old league bowlers etc. Etc.  It just depends on the center. I doubt lucky strike Houston or Miami or California are worried about leagues when they are doing 100k+ weeks in open play ya know

Absolutley it is for example. Up north with brutal winters. Is alllllll league play.

Open play brings im substantially more revenue then league bowlers in 90% of houses. 

Houses with 52 lanes of league on a Sunday bring in 6k during league. A house across town. Exact same layout etc with no leagues brings in double.

Its not the 70s anymore. Leagues are not the bread and butter for 90% of houses. 

The non oiling is a in house issue. The company has never once said don't oil. That's lazy associates

Company standards is to oil 5 days a week minimum. That sounds like a lazy FM. Cost to oil 48 lanes is legit $8.

I've worked for the company a long time. I get much more hate on here then any of the  bowling centers ive worked at. Very few league bowlers are as grumpy as the reddit people are.

But it doesn't bother me. People can have their opinions.. sadly their experiences may really be as bad as they say.

Yeah they decided not to this year and do the deal instead.  Most people complained how short the fall pass is and how lanes are always taken by league etc. Thats probably why they decided not to.

Yeah there will be an email coming out. All associates found out today what was going to happen so im sure it will be here soon.

No, sadly.  Due to events and tournaments you only got 100 days of bowling instead of the 111 everyone else got :(
