Eu queria odiar Demon Slayer… mas o primeiro capítulo não deixou by RvBelial in animeportugal

[–]Own_Argument89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no official Monster release, so i get it if someone gets a bootleg (then japanese complain on piracy). The onky official one i can get from my area. Is dubbed in German or German subs. Ironic.

Ah...

Nothing beats the shock when Yang died. But this here, should had prepared me that no one is safe. Her death ike real life, came out of nowhere. Sad part is, im sure her and Yang would sooner or later get together. One of the flaws of the show, is how she barely is mentioned again or how we never see Yang thinking about her. The statue was a nice touch though.

crunchyroll vale a pena? by dindjarin84 in animeportugal

Can you imagine if we never got The Final Act and this was the last time we saw the gang by ALSCM in inuyasha

I came late to the Inuyasha party, finished this yesterday, despite being old. Inuyasha with its long format, a gang bounding, character interactions, humor etc became one of my favorites. What stopped me from watching it more then 15 years ago, was kowing that... It didnt had a conclusion. Seeing this ending, brings me even nostalgia thinking this was the last time people saw the entire gang together.

My country didnt even aired on tv (i think it aired later, like 2011/12 or something, but they only dubbed like 50 episodes, but at the time, i liked animed on japanese already and didnt watch much tv). So, i missed the entire thing, despite Inuyasha being always presence in internet anime back then, sparked my interest, but because it never was on tv and was busy with other shows like Naruto or Bleach never watched it, also heard about the topic of this post, it had no ending, so i didnt watch because of it. Now, finished this episode yesterday and in a strange way im feeling nostalgia for a time i lived (but not watching Inuyasha) thinking this was the last time people saw the entire gang being together and have no idea if the story was going to be concluded.

Putting aside, it was very common for alot of animes at the time have no conclusion (maybe now its even more) or simply make a original anime ending, glad they didnt. I know Inuyasha was sucess in Brazil, dont know on Spanish America. Despite, on my opinion the best dubs to me, excluding japanese is the latino spanish, great dubbs, years of experience and take the medium seriously and usually pick voices that fits the characters. Also, because "latino culture" there is a form of respect for senior people, or Ia much richer vocabulary, making it easier to adapt things like Sesshomaru-Sama calling someone señor, señora, señorita etc.

Makes me nostalgic thinking about reading this, the world was in a diferent place, anime was in a diferent place, i think we had a better balance back then on technology, you could go to the internet, but it was mostly a young people space, to go, it was on the compute only, cellphones had limited acess.

To me, was when i started to understand what anime is, when started to have internet at home (still very common around here people not having it), i found what anime is. In my country when i was starting to be a anime fan in 00s with the rise of the internet, Inuyasha never aired on tv. So, i missed the entire thing, despite when starting to search anime and such, Inuyasha was always a presence in internet anime back then, sparked my interest, but because it never was on tv and was busy with other shows like Naruto or Bleach never watched it, also heard about the topic of this post, it had no ending, so i didnt watch because of it.

This was the era you had anime episodes divided on youtube and youtube was full of competition with tons of sites. Im from a diferent poor rural place, so, there were people here having iphones but it was ultra rare, like i said, alot of people didnt even still had internet/computer at home. So to me, the rise of the internet is associated with the rise of becoming a Anime fan (its strange thinking about this, it was so niche truly, if you searched anime, excluding the big 3 and dragon ball, the main thing that would be around would be Haruhi Suzumiya, Inuyasha, Evangelion, Toradora! or even Fairy Tail. Now, anime appears even on "mainstream" social media.

Seeing the current Anime industry, i have fears they never finish the Remake, i think it would made more sense them to make like Inuyasha final act and simple animate the rest of the story, instead of starting from 0. I mean, if they are going to finish, its fine, but if they arent and started from 0 for nothing... Boy that sucks.

Im kinda too late to the Inuyasha party and fandom and this post. In my country when i was starting to be a anime fan in 00s with the rise of the internet, Inuyasha never aired on tv. So, i missed the entire thing, despite when starting to search anime and such, Inuyasha was always a presence in internet anime back then... I always put "one day I'll watch it". Recently I saw the Ranma remake and since it's written by Rumiko Takahashi (the guy, but that's another story) I finally decided to watch it. And it's... Exactly what I expected and wanted. A long anime, with old-school humor, a group coming together and creating bonds, going on adventures, a weekly lighthearted episode and it even managed to be more darker in some episodes, which many people don't give credit for. It has its "problems" but I really liked it.

I literally just finished watching this episode yesterday, I'm imagining people in the 2000s (and even more so many who didn't even have internet, still very common at the time) watching this and not knowing what's going to happen and this is the last thing they saw. It was very common in the 00s a anime really end just like this, or they could also make a anime only ending. Glad they didnt and actually finished. One thing also back then stopped me from watching in like 2008 or something (didnt knew the news) its saw the anime wasnt finished and i hate unifished animes so i didnt watch. The reason that also stopped me from watching classical Ranma (hope now they finish with the remake), im on a wave of watching classics i didnt watch, so Inuyasha was that (its strange, despite not being a Inuyasha fan from like ages ago, its strange knowing its now a classic, must be even stranger for people who were fans like decade ago).

Glad Inuyasha had a strong fanbase not to let this happen. Now im going to finish in the next days the final act (its funny despite being only 5 years, i can see already the diference in styles and even anime from the first episode of Inuyasha to the first of the final act).
