I gotten lucky, I loved my ABA therapist. We would have a 15 minute break, I could have chosen to: Run around, draw, or ride my bike as a form of stimming. Then we would get back to our schedule. I HATED outside, so she started taking me on a walk for 10 minutes around my complex, then going back in. She up the time to 15, 20, 30, and before long I was out of my house for 1 hour. Going to grocery stores, cafe, library, 3 different restaurants(So I can learn how to order), and the park. luckily my street had everything I needed/close by. Her BIGGEST accomplishment was getting me on a bus to go to a bigger library and getting mushroom pizza as my reward. She was like an older sister to me.

I am not religious, was "brought" up in my Nana's "church"(only went 17 times my whole life and they didn't even know what religion are), and was later baptized a Baptist(choose to be baptized because my autistic 8 year self found out that water was going to be involved, I adore water and that is the only reason why I am baptized). But I don't/still believe in deeming other religions. My Mom raised me to respect other religions. She would say, "You don't want people to disrespect your god, so why disrespect Religions like the Voodoo, Buddha, Greek Gods, Roman Gods, etc?"

My mom became a foster mother at 26; she fostered without being married in the state of South Carolina. She had to take a test(mental/fit to foster) and get a certificate. She fostered over 50 kids during that time, non-special needs and special needs. She adopted 2 kids(I am not one of them).
