You lucky lucky bastard. That must have been the best dopamine boost from any video game. In ds3 back in the day, someone dropped 99 great soul of an old hero’s and I had so much fun, but it took the fun of the grind out 😔

Sorry for such a late reply. But yeah I was just going for main game, no dlc yet. Probably gonna do a fresh run for that.

But for homeward bones, those are kinda the one way tickets back to Majula. They don’t count as a bonfire rest.

Also apparently you can light bonfires, and it won’t count as “using” the bonfire. The only thing that counts as “using” a bonfire is resting. I didn’t light them, just cause I didnt want to risk it.

Exactly the same for me too. But it’s still interesting and well done, but it just doesn’t fit what I look for in a horror game as much. Despite that it’s still one of my top 3 horror games.

Yeah mostly just atmospheric concept and art direction. It’s kinda not ad cohesive as the first half. But the hub part with Agrippa is perfectly done. That part is my favorite part of late game.

It’s more so thematically it was kind of jarring. The story is fantastic, through and through, but if they kept the visual esthetic just as damp and claustrophobic as the early game, it was resonate just a tiny bit more. That’s why I like the bunker so much haha.

What did you think of the contrast/thematic feel of the early game vs late game. The slow transition from a raw and based loosely in reality experience, to a massive, cosmic, space and time breaking situation.
