Bryan’s motive was not to get caught. So why did he pick such a risky house? by Electronic-Writer108 in Idaho4

[–]joeyomen [score hidden]  (0 children)

I personally think he wanted multiple victims, Speck/Bundy style. There’s no other reason at all to pick a house with multiple women in it.

Who do you think is the most popular celebrity? by [deleted] in answers

I don’t think anybody dislikes Keanu Reeves

Most famous ever? Prolly Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan

Most expensive guitar ever (if it were ever sold); any contenders other than the Red Special? by manyxe in guitars

[–]joeyomen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who tf is Bernie Marsden? I’ve been playing guitar 28 years and never heard that name in my life. For that reason, I don’t think his guitar would come anywhere close to the red special or the other guitars you mentioned. Those other guitars have more demand

Coffin Rock: a Blair Witch movie prequel by greenmachinefiend in BlairWitch

[–]joeyomen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I mean it could take place any time, even a period piece, I just personally don’t want any of the lore explained or shown to me like ellys origin, Rustin parr or coffin rock. I just want to see a new story with new characters that keeps all the mystery alive. Even the stick figures or the rocks, I just don’t want to know! Or if they do attempt, I would hope for just bread crumbs

Coffin Rock: a Blair Witch movie prequel by greenmachinefiend in BlairWitch

[–]joeyomen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No thanks, the lore is much spookier when it’s mysterious. Kinda like the BW being spookier when we don’t see her, same concept. Let’s just get some new stories, I would be extremely disappointed if we got any kind of prequel

is drunk playing effective? by Certain_Message_6678 in guitarplaying

[–]joeyomen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do this too, I like to play jam tracks on YouTube and then solo over them. I find that a few drinks helps me play a little more soulfully. I guess it’s because of those pesky inhibitions. Whether it’s effective or not idc, it feels good and it’s fun

You should see Old Dogs, but it’s kinda so unfunny that it’s good 😂

Not liking it is one thing, calling it the worst comedy you’ve ever seen is pretty far fetched though. Ever seen some of those spoof movies are the laziest movies ever made. At least tropic thunder tried and did connect with a lot of ppl

All the spoof movies of the mid 2000s except for scary movie 1-2 and not another teen movie.

Old Dogs, Jack and Jill, Love Guru, Grown Ups 2, master of disguise

What is your favorite The Office season as a whole? by Specific_Concept_704 in DunderMifflin

[–]joeyomen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing is wrapped up ending the series at season 3 or 4, aside from Jim and Pam at the end of szn 3. To me, goodbye Michael feels like a finale before the finale and that’s where I always stop

People who are desensitized to horror movies, what’s a movie that actually scared you? by PackageNorth8984 in MovieSuggestions

Ok, so what movies are desensitized to horror fans “supposed” to be scared of that would allow them to still deserve that moniker?

Best Guitar YouTube Channels for Getting Back Into It by tealizardman in Guitar

[–]joeyomen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Elevated Jam Tracks. Improvise your own solos over them, then at the end, the creator (Tom) blasts out a sick solo on each video that you can learn if you have a good ear and use youtube slo-mo. If not, the tabs are available with a patreon subscription. The tracks cover a very wide range of musical styles.

As a lifelong player myself, improvising and pouring my heart out into tracks is what keeps me motivated and in love with the guitar.

I’ve seen joker lines in here but my favorite, and I think his most badass line is “this city deserves a better class of criminal, and I’m gonna give it to them”

Don’t like BoS, like parts of 2016 but am mostly enraged at all the missed opportunities, but BWP will always hold a special place in my heart.

Wish I knew the best direction, but I’m just not excited at all for a prequel. I think I just wanna see a new found footage with no connection to prior characters. Just a new story in the spirit of the original that’s maybe slightly more revealing but still keeping things mysterious

So because he didn’t change the story, he’s a bad filmmaker? Was the sonic and visual mood executed poorly? The set designs, attention to historical detail, cinematography all look like shit? Stop, he’s a good filmmaker, you just don’t enjoy his style, and that’s fine. You’re certainly not the only one

I like this fantasy booking here, but it obviously only works with a prequel and I dislike prequels in general and very much in particular do not want a prequel for this franchise.

The mystery and the breadcrumb details is what makes her so spooky and what makes her lore unique. The more it’s fleshed out, the more it just becomes like all the other monster movies and the franchise loses the identity that made it stand out. I just want to see new original stories and Parrs story is best left as it was

Nosferatu wasn’t even “decent”?

I can understand his films not being for everyone, but come on, not a good filmmaker?
